Angela Goodrich (asgoodrich) | 10 comments I was looking up a book on my reading list and found four entries for what appears to be various editions/releases of the same book. Because they have entirely different titles I wasn't sure if I should combine them or not. And if so, what would be the best way to do it?

In order of how they seem to have been released:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The covers are similar, with the title being the only real difference. In fact, the only reason I noticed that they appear to be variations on the same book was because they're all marked as the first book of the same series (Forbidden Glades). But if you read the descriptions, it appears to have been the same book but tweaked for different audiences.

The first three are no longer available, which just added to my confusion as to whether or not they needed to be combined.

Please advise.

Whether a book is currently out of print has no bearing on whether it should be combined. And just as we combine translations of a book with the original, we also combine new editions published under a different title -- or when the book is originally published under different titles in the US and the UK, as happens sometimes.

Thanks Rivka! With the way it changed from MF stepbrother, to MM stepbrother, to twincest, I just wasn't sure of how to handle it and I didn't want to do the wrong thing. I appreciate your guidance.
