Hi hopefuls! I was just wondering who were the characters you looked up to the most from books while you were growing up? Just thought it would be interesting :-) Mine were (and still are) Violet Baudelaire -asoue, Hermione Granger -harry potter & Matilda -matilda!
Great question! Mine were Jill from Katherine Kerr's Devery novels, Anne from Anne of Green Gables, and Ayla from Clan of the Cave Bear (which I didn't read for the sex when I read them at the age of 12!)
My family basically raised me on LOTR and I have always admired Eowyn (come on though she is so badass) and the scene with the Witch King of Angmar is one of my favourites. Also Hermione, and now that someone mentioned it I kinda think I looked up to Violet from asoue as well.
I'm the same as Julie. Luna has always always always been my idol and I see so much of myself in her, maybe she shaped me as a person or maybe I'm just like that but I'm glad parts of me are like Luna. She's so dreamy and outrageously wacky but doesn't care if people think worse of her for it. She shows so much self-confidence while still being one of the most humble and caring fictional characters. The way she lives her life is amazing.
