Group Read Nominations - May 2014

It's time to choose the nominations for the May group read. To nominate a book just post the title of the book and the author, below.

It can be any book so long as it is within the ya historical fiction genre and it is suitable for teens - no 18+ material. Every member can only nominate one book. Also, please do not nominate a novel that has been chosen for a prior Young Adult Historical Fiction group read. Please note that as of right now authors can not nominate their own books for the Group Reads.

The nominations will end on April 20th and will then be put to a vote to determine the group read for May.

I would like to suggest Code Name Verityor The Winter Horses
since nothing else has been put up yet.
And by the way, when did it get to be April 19th already?!

Hey Nancy! Code Name Verity was already one of YAHF's group reads, but The Winter Horses looks like a really great read - it's been on the top of my to-read list ever since I first discovered it!

As for me, I would like to nominate Sekret by Lindsay Smith.

Sekret looks like a wonderful book; I have downloaded it to my kindle!
I am a 7th grade lit teacher and was looking for a companion novel for Between Shades of Grayby Ruta Sepetys. This would certainly add an interesting twist.

There's a giveaway now for Sekret. It looks great. I'd go for that! I just binged on the 1st season of The Americans on Fx so I'm geared up for more KGB spy stuff. Always geared up for psychic stuff.
