Glad to have you with us, Kristin!

This is a fun challenge and will hopefully help you get some books read that have been on your list a while. Good choice to start with Marianne!

ladymurmur | 54 comments It is late in the year, but I've only recently discovered this group and this challenge. So delighted to find other fans of all things Austenesque! Thanks to various sales and freebies, I've amassed quite a collection of Austenesque TBRs on my kindle. And my local library has even more titles available. This will be a lovely reason to read more of them.

I'll be joining at the Caroline Bingley level, as I can safely plan to read between one and five Austenesque titles between now and the end of the year. :-) If there is another, similar challenge for next year, I look forward to aiming for higher levels!

Debbie (dmbrown) | 849 comments Oh, it's NEVER too late, ladymurmur! The more the merrier. And feel free to interact with us on the other challenge levels. Your own book totals might put you in Caroline Bingley's Library, but we have interesting "conversations" in the other libraries that anyone can jump in on.

Yes, so very glad to have you find us and join up. Never to late. :)

As Debbie says, the conversation is good in many of the discussion groups and challenges.

And I do believe that we'll give it a go for another year. So many lovely people to read and challenge with here that I know I don't want to give it up. :)

Onward through Caroline Bingley level. Cheering for you!

Debbie (dmbrown) | 849 comments Also, you might enjoy joining the group read a bunch of us are doing in September of Haunting Mr. Darcy - A Spirited Courtship. Check out Assorted & Sundry Matters, Group Read- September. We've done them in March, May and July, and it's been interesting to exchange our impressions.

ladymurmur | 54 comments Thank you for the kind welcome, Sophia & Debbie! I am glad to hear that there will be a challenge for the new year, as well! {twirls}

I am planning on joining the September group read of Haunting Mr. Darcy - A Spirited Courtship! I have a fondness of P&P fic, and it looks like a very fun read. Just downloaded it to my kindle this evening. Now, to restrain myself until Thursday... :-)

Don Jacobson | 30 comments Guess I need to up my reading level. Already at 70. Anyone know how to easily move Goodreads"read" lists over?

Wow...411 on Don Jacobson

Well, happily married for 40 years to a gem of a woman...one who makes me better in every way. We live in the Seattle area. I am a member Jane Austen Society of Puget Sound.

Two grown kids...Mike--a data scientist--and Katie, an author of YA books (check out Katie Jaros). Katie is Mom to 3 daughters!

I teach history at the college level.

Just released two new JAFF...working on next novel in Bennet Wardrobe Series.

Love to expand my Goodreads friend base!

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) Welcome, Don! We have a number of authors here, including our delightful and charming leader, Sophia. I’ve recently heard about the Bennet Wardrobe series and am looking forward to checking it out!

Splendid to have you as part of the group, Don!

Yikes, no idea how to import your GR list to here. I suppose you could leave a link to your 'read' shelf and people could follow the link to scan through your books and then you could just add updates from now on to the end.

Oh neat! A father-daughter pair of writers and a son doing well in his field of interest, too. I'll have to check out your JAFF booklist.

I think you've come to the right place to add folks to your GR friends list. :) We're a friendly bunch.

Good luck on the challenge!

Hi, Don. Very happy you found your way into our happy group of JAFF lovers. Allow me to add my welcome to the chorus. You'll find several who are far more fascinated by historical detail than yours truly. And under the Assorted & Sundry Matters heading, you might want to place posts in the Promotion Place for whatever month you have a new release out. I also suggest that you look at Austen Lovers Address Book with blog sites that post author interviews and reviews of new JAFF releases.
