I've got the threads updated with free passes (post 1). If your team was finished yesterday and I didn't post your free pass, let me know and I'll get it added :)
How do you handle differences in page counts? For example Unthinkable GR lists 4 editions with page counts 103 ebook, 310 ebook, 205 ebook, and 308 (paperback)
It's crazy how some of them vary like that. Just be sure if you're reading one like that you link the edition that states what you need in your review. The word count is the same so if one format states over 150 I'm cool with it.

Do the new additions need to have their books read by the end of Friday, before we can roll, as well or do they get a pass this week for starting late?
Any new players were more than welcome to get their book in this week but if any of them haven't they can start officially tomorrow.
So, if they declared a book this week, it should be read by the deadline, if they didn't then starting tomorrow is ok...
If they declared a book this week and change their mind about being able to have it done on time I'm ok with it. They all didn't get the full time frame to read. So any new players that post they're changing their mind and starting tomorrow I'm ok with the team going ahead and rolling.
I have a question about a minor situation that came up. I had posted yesterday (in the short amount of free time that I had) a small, quick review of the book I read for last week's roll. So JoAnne did the roll last night. But this morning I elaborated more on my review. Does yesterday's review count?
Can we read more than one book from the same series during this whole thing? Or you don't allow that?
Jenne I am wanting pre-approval for this book as a series 4 book because it shows as a # 10
Reckless Abandon by Stuart Woods (Holly Barker #4)** This is a crossover between 2 of Stuart Woods series - Stone Barrington #10, Holly Barker #4 as shown in metadata below book description.
Jenne, can this pass as stand-alone?
It does have some kind of series written, but I'm not sure if that's really series or just publisher created line.
(On author's page that series doesn't exist and book is treated as stand-alone. I think. ☺)
It's fine so long as the # of the book matches. If you're going with the alternate especially title letter just be sure the edition you link matches the alternate criteria.
Jenne wrote: "It's fine so long as the # of the book matches. Should I link to wiki since there is no English translations of it when posting review?
Thank you!!!
Jenne wrote: "You're good, It looks like a standalone to me. You're brave reading one that long lol!"Should I mention it has really tiny letters?! :P Last time it was published, publisher split it up in 4 books.
But it's one of my favorites, so it's not a problem. And it's reread so it's going to be faster.
We are still waiting on one player's review. Do we have to roll by midnight or do we just need the players review in by midnight? Also, when do we need to notify you that we are using our free pass? before time runs out or is after midnight ok?
Go ahead and use the pass, just put free pass in lieu of a review for the missing one. If you want to go ahead and use it since it's already 11. In the event the review pops up in the next hour you can have it back since it's so late.
Is there anyone interested in being a fill in player for SSS for two rolls? You'd have the current roll to read which has to be done by this Thursday then the Thursday roll that's due on Sunday.
All teams in post 4 of their thread have the winning alternates under the spoiler tag. They've been randomly selected and I'll post the list here too. So for any newbies to win you have to roll past 75, you can read the # you'd be on i.e. land on 89 you can read and 8th or a 9th or the new alternate.76.Color: Pink
77. Location: Texas
78. Title: K
79. Location: France
80. 2007
81. Location: Italy
82. Color: Red
83. Title: C
84. Title: D
85. Title: P
86. Location: New Mexico
87. Lol
Here's an update on each team after the last roll:
1: 60
2: 65
3: 51
4: 48
5: 54
6: 58
7: 52
8: 58
9: 60
10: 48
11: 58
12: 55
13: 54
Team 2 could win on the next roll provided they roll an 11 or 12.
Just curious, once one of the teams win are the rest of the teams going to finish out their game boards or are we going to end the game right where we all landed?
That's what I thought you'd say Jenne. I tend to have a lil' bit of OCD and the idea of leaving my game board unfinished kind of weirds me out LOL.
And the race is on! We have several teams that can win after today's roll. There's still a couple that haven't rolled also that have the potential for a winning roll. The first team to finish will be our winners!
