Validating alternate cover edition

I just created this alternate cover edition (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) for this Vintage published edition of As I Lay Dying in response to a msg I got from a librarian about doing so (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...). The system allowed me to do it, although I am not a librarian and I'm wondering if it has to be validated by a librarian before I can find it when I go to see all editions. I did get a popup msg saying it might take ten minutes before it was searchable. I created the alternate edition about 3 hours ago, but it isn't yet appearing when I try to change the wrong cover on the edition I have added to My Books for the same isbn, yet when I created this topic my newly created edition with the green cover with the bed popped up in the topic box. The isbn is 0099479311 and the EAN is 9780099479314. The green cover with the bed is scanned from the book I own. Many thanks in anticipation, Lynn

New editions need to be manually combined with the other editions. I combined this book.
