He was panting heavily, glaring at Loki. "Not funny"

"yet entertaining" Loki commented as he looked at Akira.
the Loki with Shikyō drank a bit more wine.
He growled, wanting to strangle him, but stopped trying. He sat down, gving up.
(( i doubt it.. ))
(( dae-dae, long time, no see.. ))
Kiro spun around from the bannister, swerving and weaving his way through the rooftops. He signalled to Kilo, his companion and comrade-in-arms before twisting around another wooden board and leaping around the main frame. He disappeared into the darkness and waited in the shadows, counting his moments and analysing the scene, picturing the perfect moment to strike, sparing the occasional glance at his sibling to make sure she was doing her job right..

Kiro's eyes snapped to Runni, his mind instantly switching to analytical, planning his moves to be long and calculated.
Finally, a grin spread across his face and he leaped down from the bannister, smiling fondly -- using something he had once been taught to soothe strangers, usually those that didn't appear to be as glad to see you as you would have hoped they would.
"My pleasure," he mumbled, his voice casual and restrained, though he kept his stance at the other end of the room and refused to budge despite having jumped down from the bannister already now. Kilo still displaced in the darkness, she slipped silently through the cracks in the walls and disappeared, leaving her brother and his conniving smile to do their job.

"I prefer not to drink," said Kiro, his hands folded neatly behind his back. "It upsets my stomach, and it doesn't help to sharpen the wits. My friend, Ariath, she had some urgent business to attend to."
Kiro smiled, focusing his fixated red and blue mismatched eyes on Runni. "Tell me," he whispered, "you haven't had anything to drink now, would you have?"

He growled, angrily sinking his teeth into a tart.

the bunny girl knelt down and patted Akira on the head in a soothing notion.
Kiro narrowed his red and blue eyes at Runni, his origins speculative.
"You didn't answer my question," he said. "You haven't had anything to drink, have you, and pray tell me, why might that be?"

He glared up at her and growled, tart sticking out of his mouth, but didn't move.
Kiro took the cup, swirling the red wine around with the tip of his finger. He looked down at the drink, certain that if it were to contain a poison or a Truth Serum, that he would be able to manoeuvre his way around the questioning, and he seemed to be quite sure that was what the drink contained.
He lifted his finger out of the glass, sucking on the end of his nail, not taking his eyes off Runni, though he didn't tell him that he had not actually made contact with the water rather than made it seem that way.
"Aren't you going to hold a toast," he asked him, "if you are inviting me as a guest? Wouldn't it be quite speculative for you to invite me here even after my earlier snooping?"

"it's just a friendly gesture, it's cold out here." Runni said as he sipped his wine, the cool refreshing wine soothing his throat. if this guy was trying to be deceptive he sucked, his finger wasn't even wet.

the bunny girl patted him like she would pat a child that didn't get what they wanted. Loki smiled at the spectacle.
Kiro narrowed his eyes at Runni. A Fair Game, he thought, lifting the glass to his lips and swallowing a mouthful of wine.
He wiped his lips off the sleeve of his cloak, and set his empty cup on the floor, waiting for Runni's next proposition..

(where the heck did the dressing table come from, we're still outside.)
(( haha.. i summoned one.. ? just say i put it on the floor.. ))

Kiro smiled, drumming his fingers on the dresser, his eyes shining brightly at the notion.
"It does," he told him, the corners of his mouth lifting. "I always use it when I need a place to put my clothes. You never know when you'll come into an emergency when someone needs a spare dresser."

He tore off the tart from his mouth, chewing on the piece he'd bitten angrily. If chewing could be a glare, that would be it, glaring at her and then at Loki.

"so you bring a dresser everywhere you go?"

Loki grinned as the bunny girl offered wine.
"Mainly to Europe and Asia," he said, "or if I decide to go on holiday, you know."
It was clear in his prose, the way he drummed his fingers and the shine in his eyes, that he was becoming increasingly irritable.
"I don't often run into people," he told him, "that invite me to a glass of wine just so we can discuss clothing garments."

"Well," he said, positioning the cup off the dresser, now readily filled with wine, and clasping it between his hands, "my apologies for your hindrance," he muttered, placing the glass to his lips and sipping the bitter taste out of the cup.
"Though," he motioned, finishing his glass but refusing to place it down on the dresser, "you could have just told me."

He took it, chucking it at Loki with a growl and turning his back to him.

"i asked if you would like to come in when I arrived." Runni reminded him as he took another sip of wine and refilled Kiro's while he held it.

Loki grabbed the bottle and preceded to refill his wine glass as if this was a normal routine.
Kiro narrowed his eyes. "Clearly, however," he muttered, "we did drive this conversation a little too far, and I would be pleased to accompany you inside your.. residence."
Kiro placed his cup down on the dresser, snapping his fingers and vanquishing all the utensils.
Akira slowly laid down on his side, growling unhappily.

He padded after the guard, his footsteps weary and down-trodden.
All too easy.."
the room the entered was richly decorated.

Runni walked over to a white chair as lights came on and there was no longer a single shadow in the room to leave from.

"what happened to finding the door?" Loki asked beginning to lose his amusment.
"It's stupid" he snapped, not moving.
Kiro's eyes flew wide, their colours coming out extraordinarily, mismatched red and blue. He surveyed every corner of the room, watching for the flicker of a shadow.
No way out, he thought. That will be a problem, soon.. Hopefully, we can resolve this without having to turn to violence.. Hopefully..
He smiled, closing his eyes and lowering his head, giving the signal.
KILO..

KILO..

Loki sighed. "guess I don't need you and there's no reason to fear you then."
