Akira shrugged. "I don't mind. I still get called a whore and trash" he shrugged. "Though I enjoy cats and dogs equally"

"I hate name callers." Trula sighed as the timer dinged. Trula sprung into action, "cakes done." She said cheerily as she brought out a par of mitts(from somewhere in the kitchen) and opened the oven to put the pan down on a trivet. "Now it's hot so don't touch." Trula warned Akira as she turned off the timer and grabbed the icing.
Akira held out his hand to touch it just to spite her, yelping but quickly shutting his mouth, retracting his hand and sucking on his finger.
"As expected from a curios demon. There is an ice pack in the draw to your left." Trula said as she put the icing into a spreader(you know the bag with a nozzle).
((icing bag XD)) Akira grumbled, grabbing the ice pack and holding it to his finger, wincing and whimpering childishly.
(*face palm* I feel like an idiot)Trula spread the icing around the cake in a border and a second box before writing Akira's name.
((itsk I decorate cakes alot XD)) Akira blinked, watching her work. "What does that say?" he asked, pointing to his name. He could read, albeit not that well, and he didn't recognize his own name.
"It says A-K-I-R-A, Akira." Trula said as she pointed to each letter in turn, he wasn't taught to read? If I had known his parents I would have .........
He blinked, staring at the cake, tucking his feet underneath him from where he sat. "That says my name" he replied dumbly.
"it's your cake isn't it?" Trula asked as she smiled at Akira.
"Wait...it's...all mine?" he asked, surprised and delighted.
"if you want, don't eat it all at once though." Trula said, "we have a fridge for when you've had enough."
HE blinked in surprise. "...I-I can have it all?"
"in turns, I suggest over about a week but yes. it is all yours" Trula assured Akira, hoping he would be neat about it.
His eyes widened, gazing at his cake. "I-It's mine?" he repeated. He was completely dumbfounded by the fact that he had something that was his. It makes you wonder waht his life was like before this. HE just stared at the cake for a long time, making a mental picture of his very first cake, before, with Trula's help, cutting himself a slice.
"enjoy." Trula said as she handed Akira a fork and showed him how to efficiently cut the cake while wasting the least amount of food.
Akira took a bite, his eyes widening like ice blue saucers on his surprised face. HE quickly ate the slice and had another, cut two more, giving Trula one and running off with the fourth, pouncing on Loki while somehow keeping the cake on the plate. "Loki!"
Loki Sat bolt upright at the abrupt awakening and Looked at Akira with a kind face anyway, "yes Akira?" he asked as he patted Akira's head.
"Eat this" he murmured, shoving the plate under Loki's nose with a fork stabbed in the cake. "It's mine!" he giggled.
"Trula made you a cake?" Loki asked with a cheery smile as he accepted the plate and neatly cut a piece out.
He nodded excitedly, watching him eat it to see if Loki liked it as much as he did. It was a lot of chocolate, something Akira had always loved to the extent of addiction, but it was still super good. "She said it could be my cake since I've never had one!" he exclaimed.
"you should taste what she makes at Christmas. Puddings, cakes, muffins and an assortment of other goodies and treats." Loki said as he took a bite of the cake. he then cut out another piece and held it to Akira. "say 'Ahhh."
Akira's eyes brightened and he opened his mouth, eating the cake and giggling happily. "It's the best thing I've ever had ever and it was mine!" he squealed in delight. He was so excited over the stupidest of things. He was super pumped, snugglign close to Loki.
"you should be, the better fact is when it's your birthday you get presents and the same thing goes for Christmas. on Easter you basically spend the entire day finding and eating chocolate." Loki said, listing other celebrations that Akira probably spent differently or not at all.
Akira stared at him wide eyed. "What is Christmas and Easter?" he murmured in confusion, but shook his head. "Nevermind" He replied softly, but brightened up considerably. "TRula is very nice"
"yes, she is basically the one who holds everything together. she cooks, cleans, counsels and many other things but when ever I try to help she just brushes me aside." Loki informed Akira as Loki held up another piece of cake for him.
Akira ate it off of Loki's fork without hesitation, munching happily on the cake, shivering in delight as he ate his third piece of cake, along with the crapton of chocolates he ate. This would not be good.
"so how much chocolate did you already eat?" Loki asked as he placed a piece of cake in his mouth.
"mm...I had ten pieces from the pantry, and two going on three slices of cake"
"didn't I only tell you to have six?" Trula asked from the door as she forked a piece of cake and put it in her mouth.Loki muffled a laugh.
Akira froze. "...yes...." he mumbled, head down in shame
"next time listen, you could have had more cake if you did." Trula said as she picked up the slice on Akira's lap and began to walk back out.
"Hey!" he whined. "Trula that's not fair!"
"next time listen to what I tell you, it will be waiting for you tomorrow." Trula said as she walked out and back to the kitchen."last I checked discipline was part of the chores but it is one of the areas she's not good with." Loki commented as he held up another piece of cake for Akira.
He pouted, watching her go and turning to Loki, eating it off of the fork with a purr of contentment. "I guess so" he mused.
"but I guess it make's up for the over use of discipline you received already." Loki murmured.
HE blinked, pulling away "What do you mean?" he asked curiously.
"not knowing what Christmas or Easter was and not having many things that were yours, it must have been a rough and over disciplined past." Loki explained.
"It wasn't much over disciplined as it was alienating. I-I don't remember much but I do know that I tried to kill myself more than once" he murmured.
"and now you have someone like Trula giving you cake for no reason, change for the better right?" Loki asked.
He nodded "When that other you came...I considered killing myself" he murmured softly.
"if you did i'm sure that he would have complied, I would have tried to stop him though." Loki admitted.
He rose an eyebrow, watching him. He whimpered softly, tears welling up in his eyes, as how much he missed Loki rolling over him anew, and he lunged at him, tackling him in a tight hug.
Loki, by some means, made the plate and cake not go flying as he chuckled that cheerful chuckle as he gave Akira a one armed hug.
Akira took the plate and set it on the floor, snuggling into Loki and burying his face in the crook of his neck.
Loki used the now free hand to pat Akira's head.
He didn't mind, just clinging to him and curling close.
Akira had as well, listening to Loki's heartbeat.
Loki feared for if this feeling were to be disturbed again.
