(I realised I can play a villain, but not the heartless kind. :)) "i never said to stop." Loki said as he looked down.
(( :) )) He smiled slightly, moving back to cuddling against him, his arms twined around Loki's neck, his face buried in his shoulder. Even though it had been only two or three weeks, he'd missed Loki dearly, as pathetic as it was. He'd clung to the shred of hope that his Loki was in the labyrinth, and had gone in without hesitation to find him. Loki had him in a spell. One that he couldn't break. ONe that he didn't wish to break.
"sorry to ruin the moment but if the sword does come back, attach that necklace to it." Loki said as she hugged Akira. "the necklace should in effect respond by deconstructing the sword."
"And hence stop you from turning back into that horrid thing" he mumbled softly. "I won't hesitate to do so"
"thank you." loki said softly as he rested his head on Akira's.
He stayed still, closing his eyes. Loki was so warm, and he was so tired. He couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
they stayed like that for a while, both standing with Loki's head placed gently on Akira's and hugging each other.
Akira kept his eyes closed, but finally stirred, pulling away and gazing up at Loki, studying him. "you're tired"
"no, I just missed this feeling." Loki replied kindly as he smiled at Akira.
He couldn't contain the smile that tugged at his lips, and he leaned up to kiss him again. "You still look tired. And I'm tired. This calls for a nap and much cuddling"
Loki kissed Akira, "then let's find a bed." Loki said with a smile.
He smiled brightly, kissing him back and taking his hand, leading him along until they found an adequate bed.
Loki took off his shoes and lay on top of the blankets with his hands behind his head.
Akira did likewise, worming under the covers and snuggling close to Loki.
"We haven't done this in a very long time" he quipped thoughtfully, head on his chest.
He didn't disturb him, closing his eyes. Akira couldn't sleep, but remained still, slowing his breathing to calm Loki.
Eventually, after a few hours, the young demon got up, wandering around restlessly, tired but unable to sleep. He rubbed his eyes, sitting down hard in a hallway with a groan.
"Something wrong?" Trula asked when she saw Akira in the hall way.
"No" he murmured softly, gazing up at her.
"are you sure? there seems to be something on your mind." Trula asked as she crouched infront of Akira.
Akira curled away from her, his head down "it doesn't matter"
"hey, you're one of us. it matters to me." Trula said as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder.
He jumped slightly "one of you? What does that mean?"
"Loki's group." Trula said as she smiled at him.
"Why are you being nice to me?" He mumbled in confusion, getting up
"because, you're Loki's one." Trula replied as she stood up.
"you took his first kiss, remember." Trula reminded him.
"do you think anyone gives that up willingly," Trula said as she tossed a knife that was in her hand at him an before reaching Akira it was deconstructed, "or the Elemental Guard?"
Akira flinched. "I just assumed he pitied me"
"if it was pity he wouldn't have given you something his mother had made." Trula informed Akira.
"I'm not sure what point you're trying to prove here"
"if your mother made a few things and you managed to only be left with two of them, would you freely hand those things out?" Trula asked Akira.
"so you must be special if he gave one to you." Trula explained.
"...I guess" he whispered. "I should get back..he'll be waking soon"
"no he won't, he rarely sleeps so when he does it's for a while." Trula told Akira, "i say this from experience."
"Last time I left he woke up almost immediately afterward"
"that was when he was awake for a little bit, he didn't get a wink when he was preventing the other one from killing you with the toxin." Trula explained.
"I-I don't know, it was just me thinking I had an ounce of something special in me, only to be proven wrong once again" he replied bitterly.
"you do have something special, Loki's love." Trula assured Akira.
"Yeah. And more enemies than any year old demon"
