He stared at him. "ARe you calling me the weakest link!?" he snapped, moving away from him. It was blatantly obvious that that was EXACTLY what Loki was saying, but it hurt all the same. He turned away for a moment, choking back tears. He was weak, he was hopeless. It was like a slap in the face. There was nothing special about him at all except that he was close to Loki.

"that's why i'm giving you this." Loki said as he brought out a small necklace with a pendant shaped like a pentagon with five colours. brown, green, blue, red and white.
"I don't want your help" he muttered stubbornly, but turned to face him anyway, curiosity getting the better of him.
"so I should put this away?" Loki asked.
"a necklace. I thought that was obvious." Loki replied with a joking smile.
He rolled his eyes, snatching it from Loki to examine it, since the other wasn't being very helpful.
"it is called elemental Guard." Loki told Akira.
He put the necklace on, gazing at Loki. "Well?"
Loki pulled a string and a small marble rolled out of a side compartment. "this has enough force when it explodes to destroy a planet." Loki informed Akira.
"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU PUTTING IT AROUND MY NECK THEN!?" he yelped, retreating.
"open your hand." Loki said as he picked up the Marble. "i'm going to show you what that necklace does."
He gazed at him, holding out his hand slowly.
Loki placed the Marble in Akira's hand and then closed Akira's hand. Loki then held out a remote with a button on it. "ready for the planet destroying force to go off in your hand?" Loki asked.
"No! What the hell no don't you dare!" he yelled, terrified to drop the marble.
"boom." Loki said as he pressed the Button and Akira's hand heated up slightly and then returned to normal, "how did it feel?" Loki asked.
He screeched, squeezing his eyes shut and hunkering down. He peeked open one eye and glared at Loki. "It felt hot. And I am not very, VERY pissed off" he growled.
There was no damage to Akira's hand at all.
He stared at his hand, then to Loki, then back to his hand. "What..."
"Would you like an explanation?" Loki asked.
"when the explosion was going off, the necklace found the elemental compound of it and then deconstructed it." Loki explained.
"That's...crazy" he muttered. "So..what. Am I just like indestructible? That would be awesome by the way' He grinned.
"not indestructible." Loki said, "this will affect ranged projectiles, weak magical spells and most types of explosives so a fist could still hurt as well as a kick, the powerful spells will be weakened to a degree and some explosives will generate a little heat as you found out."
"I don't appreciate you blowing up a bomb in my hand" he replied, tucking the necklace under his shirt.
"but it proved the value of the gift, didn't it?" Loki asked.
"...yes" he scoffed. "Still scared the crap out of me."
"would I intentionally hurt you?" Loki asked, "you know, as long as i'm not that other guy."
"I don't know. He said that you aren't real. H-How can I know?"
"right now, I don't know who's real." Loki admitted, "but if he can only exist with that sword I have my doubts about his story."
"True...I'm just glad you're back" he sighed softly. "It was really lonely...and kinda cold..outside of the building"
"i'm pretty sure the sword wound hurt too." Loki chuckled.
"yes. Yes it did. Very much so" he mumbled softly.
"well, no need to worry about that now." Loki assured Akira with a smile.
Akira smiled slightly. "Yeah. No need" he echoed quietly.
"Well...I'm going to kiss you, and we'll go from there"
"fine by me." Loki said as he closed his eyes and opened his arms.
Akira smiled and ran into his arms, hugging him tightly and kissing him deeply, curling close.
Loki hugged Akira back as he leant into the kiss.
He smiled slightly, keeping close to him. "I love you" he whispered softly.
"i love you too." Loki replied quietly.
He smiled, hugging him once more, nuzzling his face into the crook of Loki's neck.
"hey, that tickles." Loki said as he began to laugh.
