I would love to read books for reviews. My favorite genres are cozies, mysteries, paranormal (psychic and ghost), suspense or women's fiction. I do reviews for Netgalley. I also have been a beta reader for various authors and I enjoy this. Since I'm not talented enough to be an author myself, I find this is a good alternative or me. Instead of the saying "Will work for food", my saying is 'Will read for Books" :)

Mary. Would you be interested in reading a self-help book entitled "The Practical Guide to Happiness: If you don't like how you're feeling, Think Again"? It is nonfiction, but points are made through fictional characters with true-to-life stories so it's a bit of a hybrid.
Hi MaryI have a novel published a year ago and called 'Shadow on the Sun' (the first of a trilogy as its turned out!). Its 329 pages, 100,000 words and is in the same genre as Michael 'Jurassic Park' Crichton used to be i.e. science faction. Reviewers says its 'cross genre' so what do I know?
I've had over forty 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon.com, others on Amazon.co.uk and on Good Reads so far plus a load of similar reviews on independent blogs.
Plot is simple: A scientist achieves breakthrough and lives to regret it. But too late! There are consequences!
Think here of Einstein's famous E=Mc2 equation which led to the atomic bomb and its consequences!
Is this for you?
My email is roger.cox1@sky.com if you want to progress.

" border="0" alt=" photo AshCrowleyAd_zps0f731379.jpg"/>" width="100" height="300" alt="description"/>THE FACT: Soon after the 1947 death of history's most notorious occultist, Aleister "The Beast" Crowley, the urn containing his ashes mysteriously vanished.
THE FICTION: Now, more than 60 years later, the urn has resurfaced and Seattle's clergymen are dying... one at a time... exactly nine days apart.
This is the most bizarre case that has ever landed on the desk of Seattle Police Detective, Brian Kane. It's so bizarre that FBI Special Agent Rowena Ravenwood knows Kane will never solve it without her expert assistance. Her expertise is in realms of reality that Detective Kane thinks only exists in B-grade movies. He's in for a very rude awakening. And what about his own dark and deeply personal connection to the case? How long can he keep it a secret?
What is the meaning of the strange symbols branded onto the bodies of the hapless victims? Why has a black plastic Batman medallion been stuffed into the mouth of each victim? Were they all part of some bizarre cult? How many more will die? No eyewitnesses. No fingerprints. Is it really murder? Where’s the evidence? And what is the disturbing secret that Detective Kane is holding so close to his chest?
The investigation catapults Kane and Ravenwood headlong into life-threatening situations as they grope their way through the strange dark labyrinth of the occult world and soon find themselves battling for their lives against the powerful forces of ritual magick.
A bloody carnage of unimaginable horror is about to be unleashed upon the world as the offspring of the fabled “Old Ones” are awakened from their ancient slumber.
The survival of the entire human race hangs in the balance and the clues to help solve the case are in desperately short supply. Worse yet, so is the amount of time left to stop the mysterious killer's reign of terror before all Hell breaks loose. And – according to Special Agent Ravenwood – that’s not just a figure of speech.

Hi Mary,I'm looking for reviews for the 3rd and 4th (and soon 5th) in my award-winning Reed Ferguson mystery series. I'd be happy to send them all to you if you'd like to read them. Here's the link for The Maltese Felon, the book I most want a review for now.
The Maltese Felon
Reed's back with a dose of humor and film noir that will keep you turning pages.
When an attractive female client begs Reed Ferguson to find her prize-winning Maltese show dog stolen from her back yard, Reed suspects he may be channeling Ace Ventura: Pet Detective rather than his hero, Humphrey Bogart. It sounds like a simple case, but things take a dangerous turn and Reed discovers that man's-best-friend can attract some decidedly unfriendly characters!
Thanks for your consideration.

It has had a few reviews on Amazon, but I am hoping for more reviews that I can use to help promote the book. Here is info from the back cover. Would you consider it?Mercy
The setting of the book begins in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee and moves south to Saint Petersburg, Florida. It’s a story where the good men are bad, and the bad men are really good. The main character, Cali, is a battered wife of a Sheriff’s Deputy. She has no hope and no confidence. She makes the decision to end her life, but she is stopped by an ex-marine, single dad and very handsome activist. With his help Cali blooms from a shell of a woman, to a female no man would ever want to cross. In the process she finds everything she ever dreamed of, a family, and a man that truly loves her, only to have her soon to be ex attempt to take it all away. The problem with this is he has no idea how strong Cali has become, or that her new friends are on the top ten terrorist list.

Her need to protect her child and support her led Mercedes down a path she could never have imagined. Mercedes has a background in radio, commercial voice overs, and activism. She lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with her 5 children.
My original book, "The Nuclear Catastrophe," a fiction novel of survival has been out several years and did fairly well. The sequel, "#Betrayal, a nuclear fiction novel of survival" has just been released. I am looking for some reviews of this to post on Amazon and Goodreads. The story is a fictional representation of what we all may be faced with someday after a nuclear catastrophe.
The United Nations decrees that an independent team will be sent to Japan to evaluate the aftermath of the nuclear catastrophe in Fukushima that threatens to contaminate the world. Bryce Anderson’s company in southern California is selected. He finds that he is not welcomed with open arms by the country of Japan.
Sara, who endured much in “The Nuclear Catastrophe”, has now remarried and lives in the San Francisco area. However, she has a brain tumor and is very ill. When she is able she participates in a charity group raising money to send to nuclear victims in Japan.
Bryce hires a reporter from the Los Angeles Times, John Taguchi to gather stories from nuclear refugees. Fuji, a former nuclear power plant worker, and Mr. Nouchi, farmer and their families are displaced from their homes by this accident. The Japanese Mafia, known as the Yakuza, have invested money in these now ruined nuclear plants. They are making threats and demands. Mr. Tanaka, Japanese Minister of Public Affairs is pulled in many directions as he tries to satisfy everyone. Their lives all intertwine in this tale of betrayal. Lies, murder, greed, and power. Whom do you trust?
Please let me know if you would be interested in reading and reviewing this. Thanks. barbarabillig@yahoo.com
