Jame shook his head. "Tell him not to bother, he needs to get himself cared for first. He can't have seen everyone." What's the use of healing someone who can't be healed? He sighed and lay down slowly on his bed, a soft groan escaping his lips as his wound reopened. He lay back and tried to get the world to stop spinning around him.

She ignored his last comments. Well the doctor had seen the majority of the people who'd been held captive at least. She went down to where he was with the last person of the crew. "The capt'n is up in his cabin. He's been injured too. He's trying to protest but I think he needs to see you. He collapsed a minute ago."

The doctor nodded, in agreement. "I'll be right on may way up." He promised, finishing up with stitching a crew member's wounds. "Make sure he's lying down would you? What do you think is wrong?"

"I'm not sure." She said, shaking her head. "He just seemed to collapse. Exhausted maybe, but I think it's something more.

Jame shook his head. "Stop... no..." He mumbled weakly. "help the others..."

Jame moved away, pulling the covers over himself like a stubborn child. "Of course I don't want to die, but I already am dying! So leave me be and help someone else who needs it!" He coughed violently and curled up deep in his blankets, acting much like a child as he grew more sick.

Jame frowned at the map, his hands splayed on the oak table that sat in his quarters. Why was it so cryptic? The first couple keys had been easy locations, but dangerous. And now there were just this insufferable scribbles that he couldn't make any sense of. How on earth was he supposed to get to the next key, when he didn't know where it was? Jame let out a long heavy sigh, tugging on his earring. "This is hopeless." he growled, pacing the length of his room.

"Who would put so much protection on something that was just gold? It has to be more than that." While she didn't think he was lying, she believed that there had to be something more valuable than gold if it needed this many keys to open it. It didn't make sense. "If the chest is protected with magic there is probably something magic in it." She pointed out.

Jame shrugged. "I'm hoping its a whole lot of gold. If I was some old rich man with a huge fortune, I'd probably have a lot of fun making this huge protection thing around it too." he smiled lightly, leaning his elbows against the ship rail. "I'm not positive that the chest is protected with magic. That's just a guess, cause all these keys are pretty crazy." He admitted, fingering the rings on his fingers.
"You certainly don't look okay." She muttered under her breath as she got him to his cabin and over to the bed, helping him sit. "I'll go get the ship's doctor. He's looked at everyone else now, it's your turn." She turned to head out, wondering why he had to be so stubborn about this. What was wrong with accepting help?
