why did you need six keys to unlock one chest she wondered? but she was ready to find the four remaining keys. She nodded in understanding when he didn't want to say. They'd all find out eventually she guessed.

Jame was looking through the spyglass when he spotted the island. "Land to starboard!" He shouted, grinned. Finally, they had reached the next island.

Adella had a hand near the hilt of her sword as she followed after them, ready to use it if they had to.

Adella's eyes widened a bit when he said she was in charge. Sure she'd been on his ship the longest but still wasn't expecting that, she didn't want to just leave him and the others there. "There has to be a way to get you down without getting trapped ourselves...."

Abazar hollered at his men to advance. There were pirates on his island! Stupid rats were caught in his traps. He grinned to himself. He would make short work of them.
Jame's eyes widened as a bunch of dark skinned natives burst from the foliage, shouting and pointing spears at him. He swallowed slowly. "Oh crap." He muttered.

Rocco was following Abazar's orders. His eyes gleaming. from the sound of it there were a lot of them out there. they'd eat well for awhile....

Abazar growled and pointed, ordering his troops to attack and disarm the invaders. They would get what was coming to them. That was for sure.

Rocco was fighting as well. He'd already disarmed one of the pirates, knocking them out as well.

Abazar held up his hand and shouted for his men to retreat. They backed off, waiting in the bushes where the pirates could not see them.
Jame looked around in confusion. Had they won? His brief sense of victory was banished when a heavy net fell on them.

Adella was breathing hard when the natives retreated, glad that they'd won. Now to get out of here... before she could say anything though the net fell, the weight of it knocking her to the ground where she landed badly on her injured shoulder. She let out a small cry, trying to bring her sword around to cut through it.
