"A groove. A symbol." He tried to explain. "Ah, here it is." His thumb brushed over a particular indentation in the wall. He took the key off from around his neck then, and fit it into the slot on the wall. There was a grinding sound, and then a small section of the wall moved outwards. Behind it was like a drawer, and inside, was another key. Jame pulled it out and hung it around his neck, along with the other key. "Good! we got it. Back to the ship!"

Adella was frowning, having a million questions about what the keys were for, where they were going now...how many keys were there anyway? A few of the crew were frowning, wanting to know what all that had been about. for a key?
Jame plodded with his crew back towards the ship. "I'll tell you all what these things are for, once we're back on the ship. That way I only have to say it once." he told them as they moved back the way they had came.
The men were all muttering about themselves on the way back to the ship, coming up with theories about what all the keys were for. A huge treasure....the fountain of youth....a bunch of others traveling through them.
Jame reached the ship and scaled up the rope that was thrown down to him. He climbed onto deck and then walked up to the top deck where he stood facing all of the crew. "As you all know, we are looking for something." he said loud enough for everyone to hear. "Something that will change our lives forever." He held up the two keys. "There are six of these keys. And what they unlock, is the reason we are out here, in uncharted waters."
The muttering slowly stopped, all the men looking up at him now, Adella was near the front of the group, frowmingbas she watched as well. "What are we looking for?"
Jame smiled a little. "A box. A chest. Inside, are gold and gems enough to make everyone of you a rich man. I have no interest in the gold. You may split it among yourselves." He smiled a little, knowing he was being very generous in saying this. "What I want, is in a small red sack inside the chest... stardust."
The gold did sound nice, like she'd said before she'd never really had much money but the other part was interesting too. Stardust? She hadn't heard of that before. And was curious. Debating over whether to ask him now or when then we're closer. Would he even answer?
"Back to work!" He shouted, and the crew, now all smiling, nodded and left on their chores. James sighed softly and took the wheel from Jack, deciding to steer for a while to calm his mind. He had no idea what was coming next.
((Hm. Sure. With another ship? Or something new?))
((something new would be cool! Got any ideas?))
((hm. Well we've done sea monster and pirates, and storms. What else is there really? Something that attacks from the sky? um... sickness? animals of some sort? Idk, just throwing things out there :P I'm a little brain dead cause its getting closer to finals :/))
((ah. I wish you luck. I've finished mine :P Graduate with my associates on the 15th! Yay and um...yeah, we could do a sickness of some sort while they're on the way to find the 3rd key. ))
((nice! That's exciting. :) I am dying to finish now... :P Almost there. I'm done on the 25. And sure, sounds good. So I guess a disease of some sort?))
(( so what grade are you in? And sure! What were common with pirates?))
((I'm in grade 10 lol, but I'm taking university courses. :P hm, well scurvy was a common one, but its more gradual. We could say they caught a plague of some sort?))
((Yeah I took a lot of college classes in High school too :P) and yeah! That works! And at some point I'm also going to have Adella go down to the brig where Denver, Sam and William are. Just to see how they are taking the brig after what they did I guess.))
((Ok! And yeah, that sounds good. Should one of them have died by now?))

Adella had just been relieved from the crow's nest. Even though things had calmed down a lot and the crew was leaving her alone now that was still her favorite place to be. She'd grown to like it up there. Now though she took a breath as she headed over to the door that would lead down to the brig. There was something that she needed to do.
Jame looked at himself in the mirror. Normally, though he liked his reflection, he didn't spend hours staring at himself. He didn't find that he made good company. However, now he was focusing quite intently on one thing. His eyes narrowed and he chewed his lip. No... it couldn't be.
((So should Sam and Denver be surprised to see her alive? Since Sam knocked her overboard and all..))
She took one more brearh before openong the door, walking down the short set of steps that lead to where the cells were. She wrinkled her nose as she came down. God it stank down here....still she contiuned until they came into view, silent at the moment.
((Yes, probably :) and I'm so sorry, but I'm heading to bed now, so I'm going to have to reply to these tomorrow.))
((I should have been asleep already. was staying up for these.XD))

Jame ran to a cabinet above his desk and yanked it open. Finding a bottle inside, he pulled it out and unscrewed it as fast as he could. He shook out one small white pill into his hands and quickly swallowed it, grimacing. Denver looked up slowly then, his eyes sullen, his skin pasty. He, like Sam, looked like they were wasting away. "So here's the witch." He spat.
"Come to gloat have you?" Sam added.
"Witch?" she raised an eyebrow at Denver, her arms crossed. "I'm no witch but you two are getting exactly what you deserve down here."
"Like he got what he deserved?" Denver asked, jabbing a thumb towards William's rotting body. "No one deserves this, doll. Why don't you just kill us and put us out of our misery?"
"Why should I?"She demanded. "It's not love you were just going to give me a quick death. I would have much rather died than what you had in store for me. Why should I give you a quick death now?"
Denver chuckled dryly. "You would have rather died?" He grinned crookedly. "I rather doubt it. You would have enjoyed it once we got started, dearie." He sighed and leaned back against the wall of their cell. "You should give us a quick death, because frankly, right now you are proving you are no better than us. Torturing us when you could just kill us." He raised an eyebrow.
Were they right? Maybe. But right now she didn't care.After what they'd tried to do to her.....multiple times....she just couldn't . Let them rot in there for all she carred. Not saying anything else to them she turned to leave.
Denver swore after her. "You are a little witch! You are no better than us honey! You belong here in this cage!" He shouted after her, hurling curses and insults until he didn't have any more breath.
She winced a bit,pasing for a moment, as much as she didn't want to admit it, didn't want to believe it what she was saying was getting to her, and part of her did belive it. She didn't know what to do...
Denver leaned back against the wall again, deciding that reasoning with her was futile. So instead, he settled for glaring at her, a sneer on his face.
"It's your own fault you're in there you know." She said, her arms crossed, not facing the cell.
Denver shook his head. "No its not. It's yours. The captain would have made us walk the plank. Which is much more merciful. But because it's you we wronged, he decided our crime was much more dire." He grinned then.
She turned back around then. "And what does it being me have anything to do woth it? And you tried to kill him too you know. You don't think that might be why he locked you down here?"
Denver rolled his eyes. "Oh he cares more about you than himself darling." He grinned. "He's got eyes for you, that much is obvious. I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet."
Well she'd missed that completly...."Well at least he's going about it in a better way then you two were. Andnow that you're in here the rest of them are finally leaving me alone."
Denver rolled his eyes. "Yeah, just go rub it in." He laughed softly. "Like they're going to leave you alone forever. You're a girl darling. Guys wont stay away for long."
She shook her head, done listening to him. She turned againto leave, just wanting away from them now.
Denver laughed softly when he saw her turn and leave. He knew he had struck a raw nerve.
She pretty much slammed the door behind her, takong a breath as she got back on deck in the light. She shouldn't have gone down there...
Jame was waiting for her when she emerged, his arms crossed. He had a slight frown on his features. "What do you think you were doing?" He demanded.
She shook her head, looking at him for a moment before looking down at the deck. "I don't know....I guess I just wanted to see...."
James raised one eyebrow slowly. "See... see what?" He asked, slowly allowing a small smile to creep across his face. "The criminals? decided you wanted to be friendly with them after all?" He teased. "Come on. Why were you down there?"
She shook her head, looking back up after a moment. "I don't know...." she answered truthfully. "See for mysf what its like down there? That they're getting what they deserve? I don't know....."
Jame nodded. "I believe you." he said finally, his smile disappearing. "Just be careful." He spun and walked away then, heading quickly towards the top deck again.
