"SUPER excited!!!! I'm going Dauntless, how about you?" She was definitely excited about the aptitude test and choosing ceremony.

Bea just shrugged and remained silent. Didn't anyone understand what just sitting in peace meant? Apparently not. They wanted to fill the silence.
Antoinette glanced at Luna. She's quiet. Strange. "Dauntless, huh?" She said, turning her attention back to Anya. "I'm thinking that, too. It seems like a better fit for me than Amity." She said her faction name with a small tone of disgust.
"Oh, really? You don't like Amity? Neither do I. I mean, I don't know that for sure, but with what I do know, I don't like it. I like Dauntless much better."
Bea bit her lip and remained quiet. She straitened out her pencils while the other two talked. She didn't want to interfere with their fascinating conversation.))
Antoinette nodded at Anya. She didn't feel like explaining that Amity wasn't all bad, it just wasn't for her."Hey," she said to Bea. "You okay over there?"
Bea managed a week laugh. "I'm fine. I'm just not the talker." She admitted.
"Hm, okay." Antoinette mused, turning back to check if the teacher was paying attention to them. "The aptitude tests will be quite an..adventure." She said after facing them again.
Anya's face lit up. "Oh! I'm so excited! I already know I I'll be Dauntless, I have to be! What do you think you'll get?"
Bea shrugged. She had no idea what she would get. She figured she would just take what she got.
"I could either be Dauntless or Erudite." She grinned, running her fingers through her ponytail. "But I'm guessing Dauntless.?"
"Yeah. I might be Erudite. Or maybe Abnegation. One of those three, I'm guessing. I could be any of them, I think."
"Whichever." Bea said casually. She didn't want to said in anyone's decision.
((What was the order? Sorry. I'm confused right now.))
((Never mind. Found it. Thanks.))
"Well, have you thought about it?" She asked Bea, turning her chair around so she could sit in it correctly but still face them. "I've given it a lot of thought."
"I give it thought once I actually get my results." Bea whispered, barely audible. She was a naturally quiet person.
"Interesting," Antoinette began with her usual smug and sly tone, smirking. "I've never met someone like that. Everyone at home is eager to tell me where they'd like to be after the tests. This is very new for me."
((Sorry, I hadn't seen your post))"Me too. All of my siblings want to go to a different faction. I have 4 siblings, one for each faction, including me. At least my mother will still have one child in Eurdite."
Bea gave a nod to show she understood. She personally hoped that maybe more than just one of this girl's siblings stayed with their mom. I
Antoinette grinned, showing each one of her small teeth. There was a gap between every one, but she wasn't self conscious. "Do any of you have any older siblings? Do they know what happens in the tests?"
Anya looked at her. "Me? No, I'm the oldest. My younger sisters are twins at 14, and my brothers are twins at age 8, and I practically raised my brothers their whole lives, and my sisters since they were 6."
Bea gave a small nod. "My brother, Ike. He's eighteen now." She told them.
Antoinette nodded at Anya. "Intense," she says, before turning to Bea."So did he, you know, leave or stay?" She knew as soon as she said it that it might have been an uncomfortable question, but she was never a guilty person.
Bea wasn't uncomfortable one bit, well, maybe she was a little. All the attention was on her. She took a small breath then did her best to focus her attention on the two girls. "He stayed in Abnegation." She confirmed. A small smile slipped onto Bea's face. If her brother had left her, she had no idea on how she would survive.
Even though Antoinette wasn't particularly a nice person, she knew when she shouldn't say things that were too offensive. She stayed quiet, but her thoughts were rude and oppressive. Why would he stay in Abnegation? Why would he choose to live such a bland life?Antoinette sighed, leaning back in her chair. "I'm an only child."
"Do you like it? Being an only child, that's something I can't even imagine. My house was always a whirlwind of chaos and all of the factions."
Bea stayed silent. She knew it was impolite to drift in on another's conversation. Especially as an Abnegation child. It would be quite horrible if she just butted in.
"Nah, it's kind of inconvenient for me. My parents think I'm weird, so it would be nice to see them criticize someone else for once." Antoinette shrugged, turning her head to Bea again. She didn't understand how someone could be so quiet.
She's aged a week smile. "Yeah. I'm fine." She sad softly. Then, detecting their feelings about this, she quickly added, "I'm usually like this. Don't worry."
Antoinette raised her eyebrow, smiling a bit. "Are all of Abnegation like this? Quiet and shy?" She tugged her skirt down to her knees; it had risen up because of all her shifting in the chair.
"Well, my brother is like this. He wants to become Abnegation, so so far, I'm saying yes." She told the girl as she put her bookmark in her book and set it down.
Bea laughed a small laugh and shook her head. "No. It's mostly just me. Ike is Abnegation, and he's out there."
Antoinette looked between the two. Both opinions were different, so she finally decided not to stereotype the whole faction."Did your parents switch from different factions?" She asked, unsure of why she wanted to know so much.
Bea shook her head. "My parents are through and through Abnegation." 'I'm actually going to be the first in a very long chain of people from my family to leave.' She added silently.
"Both. And wow, I'm surprised." Antoinette nodded, smiling a bit. "My parents are both from Amity. I don't understand how they stay there."
"Yeah. But Dauntless and Amity seems more of an odd mix." Bea said. That was probably the most engaged in a conversation she had been this past week.
Antoinette grinned at Anya before turning to Bea. "I know. That's why it's so weird that I want to go there." She shrugged.((I have to go now--I've got a whole BUNCH of homework to do.))
"Yeah, that is pretty strange to most people. I don't think it is though. It's just your personality."
((Okay.))
Bea had no troubles biting her tongue to stop herself from saying something. She wanted to go to Dauntless as well. But she didn't want them to laugh at her. She was a quiet person and shy. They could laugh at her and call her a failure and tell her she had no chance.
