Are there more books like this? Nature-Horror themed, like how some insects/animals can be a threat to humans or something like that? Suggestions will be very much appreciated.

I asked myself the very same question and landed with reading a book from James Rollins, Amazonia, to be precise.

Its not Nature based but Prey by Michael Crichton is about a swarm of Nanites, similar to the nanomachines in Micro. One of the fastest reads of Crichton! I really enjoyed it!
Michael Crichton wrote a lot of these kinds of stories. Jurassic Park comes to mind.
Anything by Crichton is amazing, especially the older stuff.
