Betsy (bstac31) | 7 comments For some reason, I had no interest in this book. It didn't sound like something I'd enjoy. But now that I've started it I'm in love with it! David bothers but I hope he will grow as the story continues. Harper has such great thoughts and I enjoy the first person POV. Can't wait to see where this story goes!

Trista (islandgeekgirl) | 10 comments So far I'm liking it. The fake swearing got on my nerves a bit but that seems to have toned down. Not usually a fan of sudden badass-ness but it works in this context.

Crissie Wood (ctwood09) | 9 comments Okay. One complaint. I felt like Harper was a little quick to just conclude she had super powers, but since I know that due to time/length and story issues this often happens in books and I felt that David reacted appropriately, I have moved past that and am REALLY enjoying it. It is fun, funny, and fast moving action. After getting through a few personal pet peeves (something that probably did bother anyone else), I am honestly really loving it so far. =)

Michelle (athousandliveslived) | 7 comments I absolutely adore this book so far! It's so much fun, and it's just AS good as Hex Hall, which really says a lot because you know, Hex Hall is Hex Hall.

I'm absolutely glued to this book and really can't put it down. Harper probably would have to be my favourite character so far, along with David, DUH.

I would have to go against Bee in a dual. Aha, that would be absolute craziness, she'd suck!

Love this so far!

YES! I'd totally love this as a movie. I have to think of a good dream cast. <3

Mom2triplets04 | 40 comments Ok this book is probably something I wouldn't have picked up. I am reading this blindly as I did not read the back. At first I could not get into it! The lip gloss part was so boring and so many people at once so confusing. But then the bathroom scene was great. I like the fact that it keeps going slow and then picks up again. The chase was great. I just finished reading mara dyer and I too feel like I'm reading that again. When the fence and car disappeared and fixed itself I was like what? How are they going to get his car out of the backyard if the fence is fixed?

Like Harper the best. David just irritates me.

Would love to slap Brandon that was so funny and loved how she threw the pen at that girl hitting her in the head. You would think shed get in trouble for that.

Hope the rest if the book keeps me interested.

message 58: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa For me the book so far is just okay. I like Harper. I think that she is a very relatable character. I like seeing her struggle with trying to fit into a perfect mold to make everyone around he happy. I really dislike David. I don't know why he treats Harper here way he does, there is just no excuse for it and it bothers me that Harper doesn't stand up for herself against him. I know that she wants to but she is so busy worrying about what others think. I find David to be a weak character so far, so I really hope a love interest does not form between David and Harper because she is so much stronger than him. Hoping the book will get better than just the okay I'm feeling about it now.

Michelle (happy9398) | 13 comments I'm really enjoying Harper's character. Her narrating is so funny, I like how she can be popular without putting other people down. It really seems like her and David are going to get together.

message 60: by Jules (new)

Jules (julesshaun) | 2 comments I'm loving the writing. It's super witty and just fun to read, but I can't help but be confused about the entire story so far. Obviously the more I read the more I'll understand. I love Harper's character. I don't know how I feel about Ryan or David yet.

message 61: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Leon (amandaleon) I think that David's aunt is the main 'bad guy' and/ or she's the reason why everyone's after David. That's just my theory.

message 62: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Leon (amandaleon) I love Harper! I was wary reading this since a lot of these novels have annoying, two dimensional characters but I'm really liking this novel so far!

message 63: by Mariana (new)

Mariana | 8 comments I don't like David.. I don't know way, He just.. aggg, I prefer Ryan by far!!! maybe it's because I imagine David as a nerd freak and Ryan as a sexy playboy model... Oh! and the scene of the bathroom, when that guy lock the door and then nearly kissed Harper I was like: OMG! HE'S GONA RAPE HER!

message 64: by Katrín Rós (new)

Katrín Rós (katrinrosf) | 11 comments I LOVE this so far! This story is just so kick-ass from the very beginning. Like, the second chapter and we already have a fight scene.
I also really like how funny Harper's voice is. I've already been laughing out loud. Also, I'm totally on the Harvid ship, maybe I'm the captain even.
My favourite scene so far is definetly the car chase. It was awesomesauce (love that word). Really looking forward to see what happens next!

Miranda (noahsgirl16) Someone tell me, is this going to be a series?

message 66: by Edward (new)

Edward (ededdneddy) It is going to be a series. Rebel Belle is written as Rebel Belle (Rebel Belle #1).

Okay, thanks!

message 69: by Judy (new)

Judy Patrick | 10 comments I am so loving this so far!! Really funny. Harper's ok. Hope she loses some more of that sheltered, preppy, student council-ness she has going on. And David seems pretty cool too. Can't wait to see where Harper's guardian journeys bring us.

message 70: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 17 comments All I can say is, I can totally smell a Harper/David romance on the horizon :)

message 71: by Edcel (new)

Edcel Justine | 1 comments The most epic part was the bathroom scene

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

I feel really bad for liking David/Harper now... Oh well everyone has there opinions! Anyway, my favorite scene so far is the bathroom scene and the car scene! I loved how David was so confused and Saylor is not what she seems to be :D

message 73: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Bermudez Ok so I have A LOT of feelings about this book. So far I think it is A-MA-ZING. There is SOOO much action and fighting and I especially loved the car chase. It's so much fun reading this book.
I also have mixed feelings about David. At first he seemed like a total jerk with the whole newspaper article, but at homecoming he was really nice to Harper by helping her out when she was vomiting. But now, after the whole car chase thing, I kind of really like him. He's a very interesting character. Almost like a frenemy.
I wonder where the book is gonna go next but so far I'm really loving it so I'm really excited to continue!

message 74: by Rekha (new)

Rekha (rekharavikumar) You know what really intrigued me was that the first line had something to do with lipgloss, of all things. "You know, all this would not have happened of I had just worn the right lipgloss on prom night" or something like that

message 75: by Matt (new)

Matt Doer | 4 comments I like this book, but I really don't like the characters. I'm having a really hard time relating to Harper; she's not stuck up per se, but she's very closed-minded and somewhat shallow. I hope she comes to her senses soon.

message 76: by Addyson (new)

Addyson | 1 comments Was it just me or did it take you a little while to get into it?

It might have been because I picked it up after I finished The 5th Wave.
