Liam was asleep in the library, having fallen asleep there on his first night. A Lord of the Rings book was on his chest, his body curled up on the couch in the middle of the room. His black hair was a mess, and his breathing was even. Honestly, he didn’t even know if he’d wake up in time for his first class.
Alice jumped down from one of the tallest bookshelves on the same floor as Liam. "GERONIMOOOO!!" she shouted, a trail of blue butterflies flying behind her at almost the same speed and intensity as her as she fell down onto the floor with a loud and dignyfied thud. Her poofy dress draping around her as she giggled.
Liam jerked awake as he flipped off the couch and onto the floor, “AHH!” He shouted, landing with a soft thud. Sitting up, he looked over at the blonde-headed-girl. A deep flush covered his cheeks as he sat up and looked at her, scratching the back of his neck.
Alice giggled as she sat up and brushed her dress off a bit, a butterfly landing on her shoulder as she hummed and sat on the table, "hiya!" she greeted happily, her eyes being a contented shade of blue.... for now.
Liam looked up at her still, a sweet smile taking it’s way to his lips. “Erm... H-Hi.” He said awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck still. “I’m L-Liam.” He introduced himself, still sitting on the floor.
Alice smiled widely and teleported in front of him, a trail of butterflies followed by an overexaggerated eery sounding woosh sounded behind her as she teleported. She nearly forced him to his feet and shook his hand happily, "Alie Kingslie." she chuckled.
Liam’s eyes grew wide as he shook her hand, getting up to see that he was actually a few inches taller than her. “N-Nice to meet you.” He said with a shy smile. Honestly, he’d never met someone so... Outgoing before. But by the look on his face, you could tell he didn’t mind it. Not one bit.
She giggled and sat back down on the table, crossing her legs, also being followed by the crowd of butterflies as stated earlier. She sighed, "Did I wake you? I hope you don't mind but the butterflies, they dared me to do it" she giggled once more.
Liam grinned at her, “I don’t mind at all. Do they always follow you?” He asked, not stuttering for once as he sat down next to her. This girl intrigued him, and she didn’t seem to want to kick him around like everyone else seemed to want to do. He liked her already. But not exactly romantically... Though she was pretty...
She shrugged, "Yea, though I thought I was the only one who could see them" she tilted her head to the side slightly.
Liam looked at the butterflies, leaning his head closer to examine them. Though his blue eyes widened when one landed on his nose. “Um...” He murmured awkwardly, staring down at it as he went a little still. He’d always had a strange connection with insects. It was just that... Strange.
She laughed, "They're pretty huh?" She smiled an unnerving yet dream like smile. She wondered about the sexuality of him... he seemed like a really... well... she couldn't exactly put her finger on it.
Liam let out a bit of a laugh, causing the butterfly to flap off of his skin. “Yeah but not as pretty as erm... Nevermind!” He said awkwardly, running a hand through his hair as he sat back, flushing a deep shade of pink again.
She put a single small hand on his cheek, "Oh it's so adorable. And red is definitely your color" she smiled.
Liam flinched at her touch, not expecting someones touch to be that soft or gentle. He’d been used to people punching him, so this was new to him. “Um... Thanks?” He murmured awkwardly, looking into her eyes.
She chuckled, "Wow, you took the compliment." she looked down in thought, "Hmmm... hatter never takes compliments.. nor the white rabbit" she said blankly.
Liam raised an eyebrow at her, but figured it wouldn’t do any good asking questions. “Why wouldn’t I? You seem nice enough.” He said with a boyish grin - almost like that of a little boy in a candy store.
She tilted her head at him and giggled as something in her mind clicked, Gay, that's the word. She thought.
Liam eyed her as she giggled, “Something on your mind?” He asked amusedly. She was almost too intriguing to pass up, and it was a first for him - meeting someone friendly. Though he really was just thinking about how cute her laugh was.
SHe tilted her head to the side, "Nah, not really. Nothing important... I guess things aren't important in dreams..." she trailed.
Liam raised an eyebrow at her, “Dreams? This isn’t a dream... You know that... Right?” He asked, his voice actually a bit concerned for the very... Interesting girl.
She blinked and rouse an eyebrow, shaking her head lightly and chhanging the subject, "New here?" She asked.
Liam watched her with intrigued eyes, “Me? Yeah... How about you?” He asked with a genuinely interested voice. It felt nice to be having a normal conversation with someone. Even if she wasn’t normal. Neither of them really were.
She nodded swwetly, entwining her hands together in front of her and swaying lightly, her gaze being somewhat... distant.
Liam watched her, smiling as he just found himself content in watching her sway slightly. It was almost like she was too peaceful to disturb, but the look in her eyes creeped him out a little. “Hey Alice?” He asked, wondering if she was actually different from everyone else.
Liam looked up at her, fidgeting slightly. “Alice... Do you think I’m gay?” He asked, a slightly amused grin on his lips.
Liam burst out laughing, leaning back and falling onto his back as he literally rolled on the floor laughing. “I-I’m not!” He managed, laughing and gasping for breath. “Of course I’m not, I actually find you very...” He trailed off, blushing again. He kind’ve didn’t think about what he said before he said it...
She giggled and glanced down at him, "Crazy? I get that a lot, hatter and the door mouse sometimes think that too..." she trailed as a butterfly landed on her shoulder.
Liam sat up so that he was close enough to her that butterflies flew around in his face. “No... I was going to say cute.” He blushed again, looking down at his hands.
She blinked and put a hand on her hip in thought, "Hm... now that's strange. If it were only a figment of my imagination... I wouldn't have it say that. So maybe I'm not dreaming this time. Though the odds are pretty unlikely..." she mumbled to herself.
Liam smirked at her reaction, “Maybe. Hey, were you watching me sleep earlier?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. Strangely enough, he wouldn’t have minded if she had.
She shrugged, "You don't really do much. Seeing other people sleep is pretty interesting though" she replied.
Liam grinned at that, tilting his head to the side as he studied her face. “Hmm. Well, at least I don’t snore.” He smiled, looking into her pretty blue eyes.
Liam smirked again and got up, walking around the library. “You’re pretty interesting, you know that? It’s not a bad thing.” He smiled. He’d never smiled this much around one person.
She hummed softly and glanced over, "Well... I guess we're all interesting in our own ways" she replied.
Liam turned towards her with a curious expression, “Am I interesting?” He asked, feeling like he already knew the answer to his own question.
Liam raised an eyebrow at her, a smile making it’s way to his lips. “Oh... I wasn’t expecting that.” He grinned as he boredly paced around the shelves. Honestly, there was something about her that made him just want to hug her to death.
Mr. Oxert walked around in the library, making sure every book was in its proper place. As it seemed, no book have been moved from its place. As he lookd around, he noticed two children talking. He smiled, and walked to them "may I help you?" he asked
Alice giggled and looked over, "You can tell me why a raven's like a writing desk" she said, toying with a book and holding it upside down.
Liam grinned at her and took the book from her, “You hold it this way.” He instructed, grinning playfully as he handed it to her right-side-up.
Liam grinned and shrugged at her, “Okay.” He smiled and walked up next to her. “Alice?” He blushed a little at the question he was about to ask.
Liam nervously ran a hand through his hair as he looked down at her. “C-Can I hug you?” He asked awkwardly, knowing it was a weird thing to ask someone.
