Bridget | 120 comments GASP! Go and rent a good movie so then you can.

Well. What was the last movie you saw?

message 104: by Annemarie (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 62 comments I am in shock. I just got the most horrible news. Im moving.

message 105: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 120 comments Are you joking or is this real? Cuz that's a little abrupt.

If it is real, I'm sorry! And I can sympathize; I've moved twice.

message 106: by Aaric (new)

Aaric | 108 comments Ummm, I don't watch movies in theaters. I'm actually what you might call a pirate. the last movie I saw was Watchmen.

message 107: by Annemarie (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 62 comments well, for the past few weeks my mom has been hinting about it but she hasent really said anything definate, but just a few minutes ago i heard my mom taking on the phone with a real estate agent about putting our house on the market. Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 62 comments I dont know i hope its not far.
No one in my family has told me anything

message 112: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 120 comments That's not fair. They should tell you right away, because a decision that big affects you, too.

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 104 comments Mod
That really stinks that they aren't telling you anything about it.

message 120: by Bridget (new)

Bridget | 120 comments I like the Beatles! Is it like some sort of Srgt. Pepper thing?

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 104 comments Mod
The last thing I saw in theatres was the Hangover. It was really funny, but at the same time, incredibly, incredibly, infinitely ackward.

The last movie that I watched not in theaters was the Dark Knight (I'm guessing that proshots of musicals watched on youtube don't count). The Dark Knight is my all-time favorite movie!

message 122: by Annemarie (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 62 comments Its about this girl, star, whos mother just died and her mom was a huge fan of the beatles specifically John Lennon, so star finds this letter her mom wrote to Lennon but never sent so the story which takes place right before lennons death, tells how star wants to get the letter sent to him and get over her mothers death by writing a song for her and finding closure. I make it sound kind of sad but its a good book and has lots of beatles music referances and stuff.

HANGOVER! That has Justin Bartha in it. He's funny. But I haven't seen it. Why was it awkward??

I saw the Dark Knight with the fam at a drive-in. It was pretty creepy, yet good.

I'm reading Hunger. It's the sequal to Gone, and in it, everyone over the age of 14 disappears, and some of the kids who are left start developing powers. It's a really great series, and I recommend it to you all. :)

that sounds cool. i'm adding it to my to-read list, because

1) i love books about music
2) it sounds sad and i love sad books

and
3) i like the beatles

thanks for mentioning it!

I got my permit last Thursday!!! I'm so happy!

I've been out driving twice so far, and it is so aweseome! :D

Also, I'm thinking of writing a written version of one of the musicals I like so that non-German-speakers can understand the story, but I don't know where to post it. The only places I know of where you can post things are fanfic sites (I don't think that this would count as a fanfic) and here, which seems to only do original stories and fanfics. Any advice?

message 127: by Annemarie (new)

Awesome! Are you having fun driving or what?!?! I bet so!!

Oh, and I think I would post your story here, but post disclaimers saying that the plot is not yours at all. It's like a sort of fanfic. So it should be okay.

Bridget | 120 comments Yeah, my brother can drive and sometimes we just go around the block and he turns on really stupid music on random radio station and blasts it out of our windows. And we have this giant van, so I bet it looks really stupid. XD

COOL! Send me a link to it, when you are finished. :D

Not the movie. THe movie is okay. I HATE Edward in the movie. Edward should be beautiful. HE IS NOT!

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 104 comments Mod
I finished chapter 7!

http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/4...

The Twilight movie was AWFUL! The book isn't great, but it's not awful, and the movie ruined it! Edward also seemed much creepier and more stalkerish than in the book. I mean, he was like that in the book, but the movie exaggerated it so much!

YES!! Exactly!

message 146: by [deleted user] (new)

I liked the book till it got so famous th@ the movie was made and sucked. Also, nobody shuts up about it now! it's like, twilight this, twilight th@. makes me think of Hannah Montana, but WORSE! they butchered an almost good book!

i sort of feel the same way. i mean, at first i liked pattison. but every so often in the movie, when his face is a certain way, he looks ugly. but then in other scenes he's okay. it's weird.

yeah, in the movie, all edward was was a pained, haunted, miserable idiot who moped around saying cryptic comments. edward in the book in the beginning was like that, but as the story moves along he got more light hearted and he laughed a lot. in the movie, the whole time he was desperate.
