Yes, that irritates me, too. A Facebook friend yesterday posted a link to a blog which consisted merely of a long, hard look at the semicolon. Thanks, but when I want a semicolonoscopy, I'll go to the doctor.

I have no idea if my blog is anything like what you're looking for (I don't think I'm cynical much). But I do post regularly, and it's not just book reviews (actually, it's not often book reviews...) Fun, witty, irreverent, and I can say all those things because I have nothing to do with it. It's in its 6th year, and I've been addicted for about half of that. Definitely worth a look, but be careful, you might end up addicted, too!
