Yeah. I mean, I know it's important to get my butt in the chair and work if I'm to have a novel. But I swear some people think that ALL you have to do is put your butt in the chair.

An odd corollary to such comments as those posted above: Has anyone else had the experience of suffering a less-than-favorable comment, then had the person commenting later ask for your assistance in writing a letter, report, term paper, etc.
