Jim Peterson I read The Oasis of Filth recently and really liked it. It's the author's first book, and I think it shows a lot of promise.

One thing different about it is that there's no one who goes around killing zombies as if they are not scared.

What did you think? If you read it that is.

Krisaundra (krimini) | 82 comments I just finished reading "The Oasis of Filth" and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was quite different from the majority of novels in the zombie genre, but in those differences were some truly great decisions on how to build a post apocalyptic world that is unlike any other I have ever read of, and a concept of how the virus is spread that is also completely unique. The main characters were engaging, and the overall plot was one I enjoyed from beginning to end. I would not only recommend this book to anyone, I will also be looking out for any future works by this talented author!

Jim Peterson Hey, great review. I was also quite impressed by the three books in this series. I agree with what you said, but what really impressed me was the quality of the writing. I really like the author's style.
