Part 1:
(view spoiler)[Lucy and Owne spend some time together during the blackout. First in the elevator, then on the roof. They send each other postcards. His is from Manhattan, and her's is from London. Both are leaving New York. (hide spoiler)]

They are staying in touch, which is nice.

Part 2:
(view spoiler)[Lucy is Edinburgh and has a boyfriend named Liam. Owen spent some time in Chicago and Lake Tahoe before staying in San Francisco. He has a maybe-girlfriend named Paisley. Lucy and Owen meet up in San Francisco. It's fun until they talk about the people they are dating, then they start fighting. (hide spoiler)]

Part 3:
(view spoiler)[Lucy broke up with Liam and is now in London. Owen broke up with Paisley and is now in Seattle. They miss each other. They mostly think about each other. Also, Lucy spent a weekend in Prague with her parents. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Owen is back in Pennsylvania. Lucy went to Paris with her mom. She sent him a postcard, and he sent her an email asking her to meet him in New York when goes back for the summer. She said yes. Also, he was accepted into every college he applied to but hasn't picked a school yet. (hide spoiler)]

Part 5:
(view spoiler)[Lucy and Owne met up in New York, and her mom came with her. Owen is going to the University of Washington to be near his dad. Lucy is staying in London. They are in a romantic relationship and will meet somewhere else someday. (hide spoiler)]

They weren't in it much, but I did like Liam.

I'm not sure how realistic their long distance relationship is.

I don't think it will work long term. They need to be closer together.
