Vincent Stoessel (vinny2020) | 2 comments I am trying to merge the kindle edition of a book (with and ASIN) into the same book in paperback book (which has an isbn number. When I use the merge tool I do not see both editions on the screen. Is this not possible to do at my level?

Books in question are :
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
and
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

They don't both show up in the merge list is because the author name is different for the two books "Milton J. Davis" vs "Milton Davis". Since "Milton J. Davis" is how the name appears on the book cover, step one would be to fix the author name of the Kndle edition to be "Milton J. Davis", and then it should merge as usual.

Please don't merge these books. Combined and author posted for merging. When author is fixed you can go ahead and combine any other books that need to be combined (or you can manually transfer all of them by editing the author on each book from the "wrong" profile).

Vincent Stoessel (vinny2020) | 2 comments Thanks, both of you. I'll hold off merging till I see if I can get the author profile straightened out.

Profiles are merged.

You are using the term merge for combining books, right? Because those are two very different actions.
