"I know, I know. I should have told you immediately." He ushered her into his warm embrace, placing a small kiss on her collarbone. "I love you, Eb. I just want to do right by you. I feel like we're both so busy, and the kids, we just, never have any time together. Alone." He looked at her and sighed, holding her close. "Pregnant?" The words came as a shock from his lips, as his eyes widened. The next thing he knew, he was passed out on the floor.

"I wanted to surprise you. I wanted to tell you tonight. Then, you cut me off and didn't give me the chance to say what I needed to say." She stepped away from him, folding her arms. "I was upset, and crushed. I thought you were serious. I tried to say something this morning, too. The problem is, you don't listen." She looked at him, her gaze becoming clouded. "I don't know what I would have done..." She sighed, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"No, I was the one who jumped to conclusions. You did nothing wrong" Ebony said as she hugged him tightly, more than a little happy that she had been wrong in her assumptions. She needed to trust him, she had to ignore the childish insecurities that she had and just have faith in him, otherwise they would being signing divorce papers in no time. "I love you too Isaac, and I know, we'll make plans for a trip out of town or something" she said with a smile, it would be nice to get away for a little while, though she was almost certain Xavier would throw a party and the house would be trashed when they returned home. He was just too much like his father when he was younger. "Isaac!" she yelped as he fell to the ground, she stared at his unconscious body in shock before laughing a bit, moving so she was sitting on the floor. She'd be worried if she hadn't seen the same thing happen after watching several particularly scary horror movies with him. She cradled his head in her lap, her fingers brushing through his hair as she stared down at him, he was the love of her life, how she could have deluded herself with thoughts of him cheating, she would never know, she would never do it again though, she promised herself.

Damon instantly felt guilty when she explained how she had been planning on telling him when he stopped her from doing so. So maybe it was his fault, but he still couldn't regret what he did, at the time he truly had thought it was the best option for them, he had meant no harm by it. "Allie, baby, I'm sorry, I just couldn't handle seeing you like that anymore. Every time we got negative results you would push me and the kids away, I hated seeing you so sad and distant. You're my wife, the mother of my children and the love of my life, I would never try to hurt you by saying such things if I hadn't thought it was for the best" Damon said with a sigh as he rested his forehead against hers. "I'll work on my listening skills, I promise" he assured her, feeling even more guilty about how he hadn't even noticed how he had ignored her when she tried to talk to him. "I so happy that you're pregnant, it's the best thing that has happened to us since we had Allie" he told her with a soft smile as he held her close "how far along are you?" he asked as he glanced down at her stomach which, now that he knew, was obviously larger than usual.
