Laura, I have to say that I only rated this book 3.5 because I had difficulty with Lily's addiction. But this is the foundation of the series. By the end of this book you'll be intrigued enough to move on to Ricochet and by then you'll be invested in these six characters lives that you'll want to keep going.

I think of this whole series as one continuous story.

Wasn't able to read the thread at all yesterday but now I'm catching up on everyone's progress. Laura, glad it's picking up for you! When I read this for the first time I actually put it on hold for a couple of days. But by the end I was completely in love and satisfied. Like Amy said, you'll want to continue with the series and I became so invested in the lives of the six characters and their stories. The books just get better and better!
