A bit of an update in here, I think. I'm still reading Doctor Zhivago, but will finish it soon if I find time reading it. I have also started to read Northanger Abbey, which is quite fast book to read and so far I have liked what I've read and I think I will finish this before or at the same time as Doctor Zhivago.

Okay, I've finished all my Old School choices already in 31st of July, but forgot to update here. The last book in that category was Neito vanhassa linnassa (Northanger Abbey) by Jane Austen, which I liked a lot. In fact it's so far the best Austen book I've read, maybe because it was a nice and light summer read for me.Also, I've almost finished with Doctor Zhivago, I've only about 100 pages or so left of it.
But I've started to think that I will not be able to finish this challenge at all this time around. Mostly this is because my reading has been stuck for quite a while now and also because I've started a new work about three weeks ago, and it takes most of my energy now. Also, there has been some other things happening in my life this summer too, that have reduced my pleasure and time to read, unfortunately, but I will not talk about them in here. These are the reasons that make me unable to finish my challenge on time this year.
Sorry to hear about your reduced pleasure reading time, but I hope that you have enjoyed some at least this year.
I never feel bad about not finishing a challenge, as long as I have read at least one new book that I ended up liking that I would not have found otherwise.

I too am sorry you have lost some of your reading time. The Day of the Triffids is on your list I just read that and it was very good. It is short and a fairly fast paced read. That and finishing Dr Zhivago gets you to 7 complete. good luck
I'm sorry to hear your reading has taken a hit. I hope everything is going well in your new job and that your reading pleasure improves, but sometimes it just isn't a priority. It still looks like you're making great progress to me! There's no pressure to finish every book on your list, I only completed half of mine last year and you've already done that with another 4 months to go. I also read Northanger Abbey last year and it's one of my favourite Austens, maybe second to Persuasuion for me.
Thanks everyone, maybe I'll find more time to read and enjoy it as well :). Now I just need to find the balance between all these things going on and maybe then I can enjoy reading again and also finish most of my books that are still in my currently-reading pile even if I've started them ages ago.
