Stacie Amelotte | 116 comments In 2016, I'm going to set my goal to read 86 cozies. I'm on track to hit my 2015 goal of 75 so I'm going to motivate myself to aim a little higher. Cozies are my addiction and my tbr bookcase is overflowing! :)

Good going, Stacie! Maybe I should set myself higher too, although I won't be making much above the twenty this year. I read at least as many mysteries that aren't Cozies.

Dagny (madamevauquer) How is Laura Bradford's Amish series? I've seen it mentioned a few times lately.

Stacie Amelotte | 116 comments Hi Dagny! I LOVE Laura's Amish series. I live in Pennsylvania so her fictional town of Heavenly is "located" about 30 minutes away. I've also had the pleasure of meeting Laura on several occasions and she is a fabulous person. She does lots of research to keep the authentic traditions of the Amish and ties the characters together in a very believable way. It's a unique cozy series combining "both" worlds. Definitely give it a try. Book #5, A Churn For the Worse comes out March 1st. Also she has a new series, An Emergency Dessert Squad Mystery, book #1 Éclair and Present Danger releases in June that sounds like a fun read. Laura also writes the Southern Sewing Circle Mysteries under the pen name of Elizabeth Lynn Casey. Let me know how you like them.
