LOVED IT...!!!

I'm a HUGE Baldacci fan and 'ZERO DAY' didn't disappoint me... First of JOHN PULLER thriller, it begins with gruesome murder of an entire family... and the things that follows just keeps you glued to the pages... set in a non sequential, rural part of west Virginia, Drake to be precise, the story turns and twists and turns more to a deadly climax that will keep your heart beating long after you finish reading it. Some great characters, specially, SAM COLE, the local cop, in tow with Puller to solve this mystery... Yes, one can't help but draw a comparison to LEE CHILD, specially his 'THE AFFAIR'... a hard driving detective (military cop) in a small town, solving big time crime.. But very frankly, BALDACCI really makes it special (more than anyone) and leaves you with that 'OH MY GOD' kind of feeling... I loved it.. BALDACCI never fails to deliver that PUNCH...!!! <3
