Evy (evyd) | 7 comments Hey, I was wondering if you guys could maybe give me some recommendations, because frankly I've been really searching for a good book to read, but I just can't really find one that really appeals to me.

I really love books like the LUX series (A-MAZING!!), DIVISA series (love these!!), SWEET series, THE DARKWOODS TRIOLOGY, OUTSIDER series, THE SHAPESHIFTER CHRONICLES, ALPHA GIRL series, THE WHITE RABBIT CHRONICLES... A lot really, but especially PARANORMAL books, with angels and magic and wolves and things like that. YOUNG ADULT (YA) is amazing and I like a good story. The romance is an important part of the book to so I really would like a book with a good romance aspect. (There can be some competition for the characters, but I'm NOT really a fan of LOVE TRIANGLES.
So yeah I was wondering if someone maybe knows a series that I can read. I really hope so :) thank you anyway!! :)

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 67 comments You might like Grace Draven. Her books are fantasy romance and not YA, but they aren't too explicit either.

Master of Crows (Master of Crows, #1) by Grace Draven Radiance (Wraith Kings, #1) by Grace Draven Entreat Me by Grace Draven

Guy Lozier | 13 comments Don't mean to toot my own horn but you just described my book...paranormal with a romantic theme running thru it...I wouldn't mention it except you just described it...

message 4: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey (ucdlindsey) Since you like YA paranormal with a romance aspect, have you read either of these series?

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

Penryn and the End of Days: Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee

I also really enjoyed the Graceling Realm books Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore and the Study series Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder .

Ashie | 5 comments Hey Evy,
You should try The Significance Series or The Prince of Wolves (The Grey Wolves Series). I hope you would like them because I am crazy about these two series. Let us know if you like them. Hope this helps!!!

James | 4 comments Try The Farogat Society if you love dark fantasy/mystery. Its the last book I read and it had a great story arc.

Those books were recommended to me by goodreads, but I thought that they had a love triangle so that kinda made me doubt a little...

Ashie | 5 comments nope both the series do not have a love triangle trust me. I thought that too in the beginning; however, when I was half way of the book I understood.

Biate I second City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare .

Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1) by Rachel Caine = older series, YA, but I liked it.

Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead = spinoff from Vampire Academy (Not my favorite though but other people like it)

Bloodfire (Blood Destiny, #1) by Helen Harper = at first I wasn't to enthralled by this book and then suddenly I was hooked and I had to finish the whole series.

The above are all young adult series. For more mature reads just ask. xx

Shelby | 71 comments I second Prince of Wolves, Glass Houses, and Angelfall.

I loved the Lux series! Have you read any of Jennifer L. Armentrouts other books? All her other series are amazing too. I also read all of Veronica Blades books, my favorite of hers is Something Witchy This Way Comes and My Wolf's Bane. If you don't mind sex in your book R.L. Mathewson has some really good series as well.

Here's some more recommendations,
Bound (The Crystor, #1) by C.K. Bryant Captured (The Captive, #1) by Erica Stevens Destiny Binds (Timber Wolves Trilogy, #1) by Tammy Blackwell Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead Elfin (The Elfin, #1) by Quinn Loftis Shifting Shadows (Sparks Collide, #1) by Amanda Kelly Craved (Gwen Sparks, #1) by Stephanie Nelson Existence (Existence Trilogy, #1) by Abbi Glines Shaken (Mind Reader, #1) by Susan Hatler

I hope you find something you like!
