i'm not sure if its from pottermore or its on the book or whatever, its been years since i've last read deathly hallows.
Oh, right. Give me the link if you find it :)I think it still would have been good if we got a bit more closure on this and some others of the storylines in the books. A lot of things were only truly cleared up in interviews and stuff.
agreed, i was expecting a thick epilogue not the measly bit in book 7 *sniff*anyways here's a round up on most of the post-Hallows stuffs JKR has revealed, the bit on umbridge is somewhere on "UPDATE: J.K. gives away more secrets!":

can't post the bit on mugglenet, its already been shut down.
Thanks AgCl, very interesting.I thought it was weird how they mentioned Winky but not if she ever got over Crouch.
I agree with you about how small the epilogue was, it very a really nice scene but didn't exactly give us the closure we might have wanted from such an epic series.
yeah, too bad JKR won't be pushing through with the encyclopedia, that might've given some closure. What with pottermore and well i suppose she's busy with the Newt Scamander Trilogy. I mean pottermore's new content is really interesting but the "clicking/hovering over moments for hidden stuffs" can drive you crazy and i think i'm gonna be old and wrinkled before they even get to book 7.
lol! I've just given up on Pottermore, wasn't that fun.I know, I was so looking forward to the encyclopedia, it would've been so interesting!
well there's always that nice little wiki site if you want a reference for anything HP, minus the frustration. XD

I adored the epilogue, there was a lot of depth to it and a lot of things came up (like how Harry still wears the watch Mrs. Weasley gave him). It was also really, really funny.
I thought before that I would have liked a longer one, but it would have just turned into a long, sappy ending.

So I was listening (Stephen Fry audiobook) to the part in Deathly Hallows the other day where Harry, Ron and Hermione go to the ministry, and I thought wouldn't it have been so awesome if Harry had somehow made Umbridge lose her job at the M.O.M! I don't know how they could have but I'm sure J.K. Rowling could have written it in somehow. I just think it would been the greatest end to the whole story with Umbridge. I mean, she's a complete cow and it would have been briiliant for the readers to hear about Harry finally getting his revenge. What do you guys think?
Thanks :)
