Margo was a tiny thing through out her childhood. She always seemed hungry. She always was. Her family was very poor. They usually worked for the higher Caste's at young ages just to get a lot of money. Margo used to hang out with the higher Caste. A dear friend of hers was in the fifth. The girl taught Margo how to play the piano. Margo loved the piano. It was a beautiful music instrument that she loved! Margo couldn't play the violin though. She completely sucked!
As far as education, Margo was smart. Very smart. Like scary smart. Although her manners were not that well sometimes. She tended to be rude at some points.
£Teen Years£
Margo had a hard time growing up. With her body growing and changing as she grew she sometimes didn't have the utilities to.. Help with her growth and changes. But for her birthday she got a beautiful gown. (Which was just a plain summer dress) but to her it was everything she could wish for! She also received her first bra. Which made her feel grown up!
Margo's sister died when Margo was sixteen. She got sick... Starved to death actually. But Margo always wanted to believe she was just sick. But she knew deep down that wasn't why.... Margo's father suffered the most from the loss. Blamed it on Margo. Told her that she are more then she needed. Margo slowly grew thinner. Her mother didn't like seeing Margo like this. But she didn't stop her fathers cruel words. Through this year Margo worked harder and harder.

The Selection was a wonderful thing. It took longer for mail to be received by Margo's family but when that letter came... Her life was changed. She decided to apply. Her mother burying into tears when they found out she was chosen for the top 35. Margo was nervous and scared. But she left. Leaving her mother, sister and brother... With her father....

History:
Clara comes from a family of fives, but they only struggled occasionally, as their father knew how to make connections. From a young age, Clara was taught how to dance and it remains her one true love, though the piano is a close second. Her mother, Reyna, was a six before she married Clara’s father, Gareth. He was a concert pianist at the time and she was a seamstress. They had Mallory first, a year after getting married. She was a beautiful little blonde girl, always an attention seeker. Clara came next, only 11 months apart from her older sister. Though the girls were extremely different, they complimented each other well and were best friends since infanthood. Then came Jaxon, who was a little rebellious and very much a troublemaker.
The family led a fairly happy lifestyle, Jaxon taking a liking to drawing, Mallory pursuing stage acting, and Clara, of course, learning to dance. Gareth, however, was always struggling financially but managed to keep the family afloat by composing. Clara was always a lot like her mother and she truly adored the woman. It seemed Clara was her favorite too, as they were both intellectuals. Reyna even made all of Clara’s dance costumes by hand, scraping up money to buy materials. The real shock to the family came when Reyna grew very ill. Of course, they couldn’t manage to pay for medicines or hospitals, though they tried to give her the best care they could. Reyna Norwood died a couple months later, leaving behind a household that would never be the same.
The kids all started to take on more jobs, as they were all older now. Gareth became fairly distant, throwing himself into his work and not giving much attention to the children. Clara tried to fill her mother’s shoes by looking after her siblings. Mallory seemed unaffected and stayed cheerful for everyone. But Jaxon…got bad. He became an addict and everyone’s been trying to help cure him. Afterall, no one would one Jaxon to become an eight. So, they keep his secret and try to turn him around.
When the news of The Selection hit, both Mallory and Clara applied, as they wanted to help out their family. Of course, Clara hadn’t actually anticipating getting in and when she heard the news, she was very conflicted about leaving home for so long, though she knew it had to be done.

Personality:
Clara is a very kind person, though fairly awkward and sarcastic at times. She always seems to say or do the wrong thing, as she has a tendency to speak her mind. Clara has never been afraid to stand up for herself, and is very witty and independent. However, Clara would never intentionally wrong anyone, as she is quite selfless. She’s a good person to talk to when you’re feeling down, as she gives great advice and will listen to what you have to say. Clara mainly spends her time absorbed in books or working on dance routines, and she works extremely hard. Some might say she is a bit of a perfectionist and an analytic. She over thinks everything, but sometimes doesn’t filter what comes out. Clara can forget to enjoy life because she gets so wrapped up in practicing and takes things too seriously. She values order and control, but dreads any sort of change. In addition, Clara is stubborn, proud, and very protective of the ones she loves.

Strengths:
Clara is a very likable person as many find her amusing. She is a good counselor and is very responsible, driven, and resourceful. Because she is well read, she knows a lot of random facts about a lot of random things, which can be useful to some extent. Very good with politics and debates.
Weaknesses:
She has a tendency to make up her mind about people quickly, and won't give them much of a chance to redeem themselves. Clara also over-thinks everything, which can be very bad. She's afraid of falling in love with someone, also.
Other:
She loves gowns and costumes, due to her mother making them. Also, she has never really been in a relationship and doesn’t know how to handle them, as she was always too busy working and helping her family.
