I added 2 pictures of my library (finally figured out how to do it) in message 58. My new total is 42. Thanks Janice. This was a fun challenge and I liked seeing all the interesting and beautiful libraries. No wonder we like to spend time in them.
Read: The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. Loved the book.
Author is female and Goodreads author: 2+1=3 pts
Title has proper name: 2 pts
Cover - title not black or white: 2 pts
Pages - 260 pp: 1 pt
F in title/author's name: 3 pts
Picture - my library is being remodeled, so I got an exterior shot for 5 pts

It is so cool seeing so many library pictures. Almeta, I loved the coziness of yours, it felt really homey to me. And the architecture of the buildings on some of these! Just love it. I'm so glad we were encouraged to post pictures for this challenge. My library may reopen soon, not sure if pictures taken in May would count, I assume not. Right now, they have a small room available M/W/Fr for limited hours to pick up holds only. I'm dying for it to reopen!
Yeah, a reading challenge and a technology challenge! Maybe next time I won't have to call my daughter three times and have to re-set my password in photobucket to figure it all out again. ;0)
I hope I have a couple of days to report my book The Demon's Librarian. I have to get my library pics uploaded and add up my points. It was a fun, quick read.

Sure a lot of folks who read Shadow of the Wind. I've got to reread that one so I can read the next in the series. It's been too long since I read it, and I can't remember enough of it.Congrats to Diane for such a whopping total!

I don't think you need to re-read Shadow of the Wind in order to read The Angel's Game. Its setting is earlier than Shadow and has very little connection to it. The bookstore Sempere and Son is in it, but that would be Daniel's grandfather and father. Come and join us in the buddy read.

When I add up your points (including 3 for paranormal), I get 19.
It's too bad you can't get the pictures to post.
