If you want to claim your author profile, there is a link a t the end of the author profile that says "Is this you? Let us know."

Hi, I keep trying to "claim my profile" and I am on my author page now but when I scroll to the end of the page I still do not see "Is this you? Let us know." - I have done this so many times and got to my page several different ways thinking I'm confused but I just don't see those statements.

Clicking on different links even brings me to someone else's page with a pink warning across the top telling me "only one profile can be claimed at a time" but according to your rules of 'claiming' I have never claimed the profile and when I scroll down on the 'wrong person's page' I don not see those statements nor can I add the author button to place on my page or the "goodreads button"

Something is happening that is not moving me forward - please explain cause I am donating too much time to this effort

I'm sorry I never read the other thread although I did look for the thread where I originally asked that. Like I said I'm so confused up here!!

The next question is where do I get the 'author' button or the 'follow author button' like I see on other author pages - I don't mean to be a pest but I am so lost in the process!!!

The Librarians Group is for help with handling book data. I don't know what you mean by those author buttons. You might try the Author Feedback Group? https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

Edit: I think I see what you mean. When I look at your author page, I see a "Follow author" button. You can't see it because it's your own page and you cannot follow yourself.

LOL, is that why I can't see it - thank you lethe - all I can do is laugh and shake my head - I am more lost than I even thought but at this time I can move on to something else and get off this merry-go-round!!!
