The most compelling thing about my book so far is when Helen killed her mother right away in the first chapter then starts talking about when she grew up and happy memories she had with her mother. She goes back and forth about what is happening in the present to talking about what happened in the past growing up. My biggest challenge for reading this book has been i can't follow when Helen is talking about the present to the past. She does not give the reader transitional word to let them know when she is switching back and forth. My greatest success in reading this book so far has been trying to understand what Helen is talking about. And trying to figure out if she is talking about the present or the past. I predict that Helen finds happiness with herself and remember more happier times with her mother. And she find happiness with her father and how he treated her mother.
