I recently discovered that Amazon allows authors to add some basic html tags to their book descriptions. This allows authors to dress up their descriptions, making them more engaging to potential readers. Here is a link to the tags that Amazon supports: https://kdp.amazon.com/help?topicId=A...
I spent some time this weekend adding html to my book descriptions. I was really happy with the result. It didn't take a lot of time, and I feel like my descriptions "pop" a lot more. I took Before and After screenshots of one of my novels and posted it on my blog if anyone is interested in seeing the difference. http://shywriter.com/fun-with-html/
