Movie version has an Incomplete Lego Game

It really is a sin that Lego The Hobbit only adapted the first two Hobbit movies. Why bother starting something if you are not going to see it completely finished, especially considering that it ended on such a cliff hanger? We need a complete story to finish off the series in Lego form, whether in a new game or DLC (like they were planning to do).
