Ben Examples of dialogue are present throughout the story. One example from the text is on page 190, "Don't you dare James. James thought his sister might really blow up if he went through with the kiss." This represents how important dialogue is. It shows how James can really understand how his sister feels just from her expression.

Ben On page 200 James states, "You'll be fine if you do as you're told." James added, figuring that he'd be Mr. Nice to Tom's Mr. Nasty. This represents that James wants to attempt not to be cruel if he doesn't have to. For the sake of a mission, James and Kyle teamed up with Tom to complete a mystery test. Kyle and Tom both were being very mean to the old women so James felt that she would be more cooperative if he were nice. This adds to character development because based on the other books, it would appear that James may have tried to be mean also but this time he was mature and did something good for the sake of the mission and test.

Ben Additionally on page 221 it states, "You know what I think Kyle? James asked. I think we're totally screwed." This dialogue is vital to the story. This is because it proves that at times James Adams could stand for a confidence boost. Also, we learned that although he seems calm, James can be very sarcastic.

Ben On page 280 in the text Robert Muchamore creates a dialogue between Ryan and Lauren that helps us learn a lot about her, "Well, I really hope you win against Malarek and that you live until you're ninety-nine and die with about twenty kids and grandkids sitting around your bed." Ryan was touched. "I didn't know you cared." This helps us to learn that over a period of time Lauren can really develop and change. This is proved by Lauren getting upset over the idea of Ryan dying a single man and early in his life in prison.

Ben I have completed this book and I did enjoy the ending. The dialogue in the conclusion of the story was excellent but this book was personally not one of my favorites.
