Pixelina I'll start out slow 2016, I so far failed all my previous challenges. But even I should be able to clear 12 books off the shelf in my bedroom (where physical unread books live)

Welcome to the 2016 climb! Hope you can zoom up Pike's Peak (and maybe even go higher).

Pixelina I think my plan is to first finish off all books I once started and read like 50 pages of.
Would be nice to put them into the bookshelf in the office as being 'read'
Among those are some Dickens, a few Oates, some Munro, Mitchell and Tartt

Pixelina First book of the year, well since I got it before new year I guess it counts...
A short and sweet ghost story The Small Hand: A Ghost Story by Susan Hill I like most of her stuff and this was in the same vein, A spooky story with gothic vibes even though it is set in today (with the mention of emails)

Pixelina The Celtic Tarot Deck and book set. Very nice deck and the book is kinda needed unless you know your mythology really well.

Susan Hill is really good. And, yes, if you got it before the new year, it absolutely counts!

Pixelina Going to read some more Susan Hill for sure.

Today I finished a tarot-book that has been on my coffee table for 6 months. It is more a book you use as a reference but I read all the meaty parts at least.
Secrets of the Waite-Smith Tarot: The True Story of the World's Most Popular Tarot

Pixelina A Question of Upbringing by Anthony Powell is my 4:th book, and if I just keep the schedule with this serie I will have done more then needed to climb my mountain for the year.
