Delete me.Okay, it's ready to be deleted now.
As is this one.
Zing!
(Oddly enough, this is currently yielding phantom editions. I already told MICHAEL about it, but I think he had his hands full with other issues today.)

Dave wrote: "Please delete this book: "Cloud Over Columbine: How the Press Got It Wrong and the Police Let It Happen." There are two editions listed--neither exist.Yes, I not-a-booked both editions of Cloud Over Columbine. Dave, you should no longer see them in your list of published works, and they will not appear in searches unless someone searches by the exact ISBN.
Librarians, in these cases when it is clear that a book never made it to publication, I'll not-a-book it and add a librarian note, such as "Never published, per author."
I have another question about books that were never published but are still listed with ISBNs and everything. Could/should they be Not a Booked? Since they weren't published, technically they are not a book.I just got all excited about such a non-book, that didn't come out in 2007. Took me a day to track down a source verifying that it was never published.
Red, Yes, That's what Jessica said in message 172 right above your message 173. We're to NAB never published books.
Thanks Lisa & Jessica. I don't know how I missed that. I'm going back to Not-a-Book a few things now.
Delete this please.And this one.
Please delete this one and recombine.
Please delete this one.
And this one. It's the most popular edition. I don't know if you need to know that.
JG, Got them all. Often, it's important re the most popular edition but in this case deleting it combined it with the other paperback copy that did have the ISBNs so that was easy.
please delete this
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20...
it's already combined with the correct one.
thanks

it's already combined with the correct one.
thanks
I changed it to Not a book. Since it had an ISBN number it would have simply come back if it were just deleted. (i tried it) I think it was a game.
Rebekah,Thanks.
I combined the editions and then deleted the duplicate that you added.
The search feature at Goodreads is not perfect. Goodreads is working on it to make it better. In the meantime, it helps if when you search you key in both title and author vs. just title or just author. Give as much information as you have re title & author. If you have the ISBN, use that as your search word.
Please delete this one. Needs a super-L, it's a manual entry that got picked up by 68 others. Already combined in with true editions, so reviews will merge. Thanks!
HiPlease delete this book
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
It keeps saying that it has too many reviews (0)
AFAIK it doesnt exist. Already added the real editions.
It has an ISBN number and a separate publisher listed. I combined it back with the other listings. Even if it is a non existing edition it needs to be combined before deleted. There is someone who has marked it "to read" and they would lose it from their to read shelf if it was deleted without combining.
It does exist; it's just the same as this. So I merged it and added the ISBN-10 to the remaining edition.
I found a duplicate entry that needs a super to delete it:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/66...
When the user created the entry they tried to put the ISBN 13 in the ISBN 10 field and here we are. I've matched it up with its true version.
I think this book can go, as it has no real data that isn't available in one of the other two editions:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/31...
The author would like this book deleted. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11... The book was under contract but was never written and the publisher went out of business before it was written. Here is the author's plea.
