A google search tells me this author edited an issue of this magazine, there is no book by her by that name.

Hmm. Here's the issue in question -- it looks like the issues are sold individually (at price tags from $10-$14 -- hefty!) but don't appear to have been published with standalone ISBNs. We do occasionally allow literary journals to stay....
(This user does have other literary journals shelved, most of which do have standalone ISBNs.)
I didn't know that we sometimes keep literary journals. Should we at least enter some more info in the entry then?

I combined it with "The Rosary Girls" since I'm pretty sure that's what they meant, but I can't find this as an alternate title for the book.
Someone created manual entries with no ISBNs for a few of Mitsuki Kako's books about one year ago; naturally, there's also an entry from Amazon with the actual ISBN, but since the title's fully in Japanese it wasn't as popular as the manual ones.I thought I could try removing the ISBNs from the Amazon entries and refreshing the information into the manually-created entries, deleting the Amazon-sourced ones. But nooo, even the unpopular one's been shelved more than five times. So I've just combined them.
If someone could delete the more-popular copy and merge info into the Amazon-sourced entries (which have ISBNs and more info), that'd be great! Thanks!
For Ai Hime vol 1 to 3 and Kiss/Hug vol 1 to 3 (only found the latter as an afterthought..).

Jenn, Those look as though they're foreign language editions, and (at least) one looks as though it's a part 1 (which maybe should be separated/I didn't look at the other editions.) Maybe they're all duplicates and match the most popular editions but I'll leave it to another librarian if they should be deleted.Sandra, Got them.

Maybe they're a..."Lisa - um. They're distinct volumes of manga/comic books. (The number represents the volume.) They haven't been published in English so the only version should be the Japanese one. There are two versions of each book, one sourced from Amazon with the ISBN and book info, the other created by a user armed with the title and not the ISBN.
The latter is the one I'm asking to be deleted...it was either that or move the info from the Amazon source to the user-created entries, which I did for Ai Hime 1 to 3 then I realised I couldn't delete the Amazon-sourced versions either, and had to go for work. -wry-
Edit: Thanks, seems someone's got them? :) I understand how the numbers in the titles could be easy to overlook, though; I considered tagging a ', Volume x' after the English translation bit (e.g. [Gakuen Alice, Volume 5:]) but I didn't want to make the English bit even longer. After all, it IS still a Japanese book..(even if some readers probably read English scans -coughs-)

jenn, I'll separate that and combine it with the most popular English-language edition before deleting it. (Otherwise it would merge into the most popular, which is a Swedish-language edition.)

Technically, in this case the English-language editions are the foreign editions!

Please delete this book. The most popular edition needs to be deleted. It appears that someone tried to put the ISBN-13 in the ISBN-10 slot. The erroneous ISBN-10 matches the first 10 digits of the ISBN-13 of the next most popular edition (clear as mud?). Also, I checked the erroneous ISBN at www.isbn-international.org and the check sum is wrong, and therefore can't be a valid ISBN.
