Serial adder I'm working on. I'll be passing up the reins in about a half hour. Only one out of the thirty I've looked at so far wasn't deletable, but that's only because I can't find it anywhere, not even on google. I'm of the idea it doesn't exist, but you never do know.

Perhaps we need a quiz for new users, not just new librarians. ;-)
Actually, on the welcome screen, an example or two for finding books already in the database and how to add them to personal shelves might not be such a bad idea.

That would be so great :) I did about 20 (my earlier estimate was off) and there's at least sixty more to go. All would have been easily found by typing in the author's last name and the title...except for the one's where THEY SPELLED THE AUTHOR WRONG.

That's really weird, I got it too when I clicked the link, but when I'm deleting the ones I'm working on I don't get an error. Presumably the error only comes when it has so many reviews?

Jessica, I don't get the error when I do the actual delete. Then I see the merge with the most popular or selected edition. It's when I go to double check, by clicking on your original request link, that I get the unexpected error message. I'm a little OCD and sometimes do the double check to see the Oops, we can't find that book message.

Jessica, that seems to be the only edition published in 1975; I don't think it should be deleted. (I would suggest overwriting the description, though!)

Ok I'm not sure what to do with this...

I ran across two blank editions of the book below. I deleted one (both were added by the same user), but I'm not sure what to do with the other. I looked online and cannot find anything about this book.

Looks like to me someone tried to enter the ISBN when adding but got the big reject. I've seen this a couple of times. I'd delete it. Vintage is a part of Random House, so they probably saw the RH logo and put that in.

I googled this book to make sure it really should be combined with the trilogy and not the complete 5-book set. What I found were a couple of sites calling it "Tales of the Otori X24 Mixed Counterpack." So I think it needs to be deleted, re-entered and NABd, but please double-check me on that. Thanks!
