How do I add URL to a book

Hi I would like to add a URL to my book information. However, I don't see a URL filed. I've seen other books on GR with a spot for a URL. Is this something that a librarian has to add? Thank you.

Someone just copied the details from that webpage and updated it!!

I added the description and author name (as seen on cover) in Malayalam :)

Please note that the copied text is completely wrong. It's appearing correctly on the site, but not on GR.

But that data should be on GR, not on a link.

The link should provide information like an excerpt of the book.

Lol, we have some specific rules about adding URLs (linked in my #2 above way back in 2015). Instead of adding the publisher site, it was better to update the book page here with whatever details I could and then see if URL is still necessary :)

After you click on "more" button to see the complete description on the book page, do you still see it wrong? FYI, this is the complete text that I copied from the book page on GR to this thread -

Clicking on "more" displays it correctly. But I wonder why is it showing incorrectly by default. I noticed this on all Malayalam books!!

It's because of the way most of the Indian languages are written, but that's a discussion out of scope for Librarians Group.

As long as it's displaying correctly, our work here is done ;-)
