It is still a work in progress but I will have it completed in a week.
I don't think I am going to get this year's challenge done, I have been ignoring it for too long, but am signing up for this one and am determined to get on with it.Will work on my shelf and the other admin type stuff when I am at home ( at work now, so best get back to it! ).

Sorry, Amanda... it's the best image I found online but as Dee said the list of squares are in the second post so you don't really have to read the board. It's there just as a pretty picture ;)

Dee, loving that you're pretty much ready for the challenge! we're limiting number of books on shelf to 90 -just so that it won't take people too long to peruse & pick books :)

Sounds like a fun game!! I'm a little daunted by all the posting, threads and date stamping but I'm sure it will make sense as I see what others are doing.I'll post the link to my shelf here after I make it!

Question: I know we start rolling Dec 1. Can we start reading then as well? ( I assume yes since there are time limits for purchasing properties) Or do we need to wait until Jan to officially begin reading?

Oh my God, this is awesome! I have yet to understand how the game actually works, but I will read the FAQs and rules more in depth before December 1.I'm in, needless to say. I really need to reduce my TBR pile.
My shelf is: Marina's Bookopoly shelf. I currently have 95 books in it (it was previously my POTS shelf), but I'll try to reduce it to 90.

Don't feel bad. I totally missed the 90 book limit, too, and I have been looking at this for a while.....BUT since your shelf can be added to/subrtacted from/changed in between dice rolls, then you can always add those books back as the others get read.
