Jenna Farris On page 52 in "Crenshaw" by Katherine Applegate, Jackson's father says, "There's everything wrong with asking for help, my dad snapped."
In this quote, I can figure out that he is saying this with a nasty tone (I found this out because it says "he snapped.") This impacts the readers view of the father because it makes the reader think that he is short-tempered, or is just upset at the moment.
