The Maze Runner
question
How many guys are in the glade?

The book says that the first persons got into the Glade two years ago, also it says that every month at the same day and at the same hour a new guy arrives. If a year has twelve months that means twelve guys, so if two years had passed it means twenty four guys-without counting the ones who died. But in some part of the book -when they're going to the Griever's Hole- Newt says that there are fourty one guys, can someone explain this?

Hahaha, ya it says that there was originally a large group of guys in the Glade at first.
in the beginning a group of like third guys woke up around the box Newt, Alby, and Minho included.
There were more than 40-50 total. At the end, about 40 left and went through the Maze to the Grievers' Hole.
20 or 21 made it out.
Others stayed back in the safety of the Glade. It wasn't clear how many stayed behind.
