I think she would! She was reading five books at a time and in case she wasn't in the mood for one of them, she would pick another one. That made her school bag really big. Now that she would be travelling I think she would like to have a bigger selection of books with her in such a compact way :). I also think that she would still have a lot physical books.
I think she would too Tana! I think she would have a Kindle because of the wide selection of ebooks from Amazon! I agree though that I think she would still read "real books" occasionally, but definitly use the ereader for travel!
I think she would have an ereader for traveling. But, I have a feeling, somewhere in her home is a small library!
No, Because it does't smell nice. But, yes, for traveling. It would definitely save some packing space.
Of course she would!Do you seriously imagine Rory without carrying around, even to the bank, her most beloved classics such as Ulyses, the Commedy or Anna Karenina?!
And she would be an expert using her paper back Kindle, btw.
I would definitely concur with Rory owning an eReader... All the traveling she does means she cannot lug all the books she loves around with her... I also ventured to guess 10 of the books she might have read in the last decade that will be mentioned in the revival.... what do you think? Any other guesses for what books are on her paperback Kindle?http://bookoblivion.com/top-10-books-...
I think she would have an e-reader... but have the books at home.Did anyone else wonder what she did with the books after she was done? There never seemed to be many in the house she lived in.
there is an episode on season 7 where she have a bag full of books and says "why books are made of something so heavy" and then Lorelai answers "paper?" or something like that, she would definitly use an e-reader for her travels

I remember that she had books under the bed, in these very ordinate boxes.
I think she'd have a balance of both ebooks and print books. :) The eBooks would be more economical for her because she reads so much and always takes several books with her, but she'd be conscientious of the fact that print books keep independent bookstores and print books in general from disappearing. :)Random question: does anyone remember Rory annotating her books? I don't remember her ever annotating, but I'm curious as to whether I just missed it. :)
I think she would have an ereader for travel maybe but I believe she would still rather have the real book instead. I mean think about it, is there an episode where she does not have a book? Even in the Gilmore Girls A Year In the Life I believe she still would prefer a book over an e-reader. I think if she had one it would only be out of necessity and she would not appreciate it as much as the real thing.
I think she would use it occasionally. But, I believe that Rory loves everything that encompasses books (the smell, searching through libraries, going to bookstores, etc....)

I'm a lot like that myself. And I really love my kindle. It opened up a whole new world of books. It's so easy to take well, anywhere, and read without lugging heavy books around. When I went to Turkey I packed my carry on with undies, toothbrush and paste, deodorant and 10 paper books to read on the flights. Having a kindle would have made that SO much easier.
So, I definitely think that Rory would have a kindle or a nook. (Some type of e-reader)
I get a lot of kindle books that I read borrowed from my library. It's amazing how many books they have available in that format now. And if they don't come in kindle format, they are in Epub, which I have an app on my phone that I can read from as well. In this day and age there is no excuse to not have a good book to read no matter where you are at the time.

I know this is an older thread but…At the risk of being thrown out of the group, ;p, would Rory listen to audiobooks?
