I am currently reading the entire series for third time (through audiobooks this time) and I have read The Deathly Hallows three times when it was released and I was just wondering how many others have read the series more that once and how many times, have you either gotten tired of it, or fallen deeper in love with it?

To be honest I have no clue any more. When I was a kid I read them all and my dad got the audio books which we use to listen to on trips. I later got the audiobooks which I have listened to several times. So some where between 10-12 times. I never get tired of it.
I'm not sure of an exact count but my closest guess is 8 or 9 though I just started #1 again last night. :) The only other I have read as many times (more actually) is LotR. I never get tired of reading them and as I noticed last night when I picked HP up to start reading, a smile came to my face. Same with LotR, starting the book again made me feel like I was coming home from a long trip. I can't see that I will stop re-reading my favorites any time soon.
I am now rereading HP series for the 3rd time. I already finished HP 1 and 2 last week and now I am reading HP 3. :)
MM... full series, I have no idea. But I know I've read the first one at least 12 times orso xD I stopped counting...
I'm rereading the series for the third or fourth time...man, these books never grow old. So excited to see so many Potterheads on Goodreads!Anyone here from California? I can't wait for the Harry Potter theme park to open here in 2016!
I've read the entire series probably 6 times. I really don't know how many times I've read The Sorcerer's Stone, at least 12, probably more. These are my fall back books when I don't know what to read. They never get old and they make me feel happy. And I love picking up my 16 year old copy of The Sorcerer's Stone just because it is so worn and loved! :)
I lost count!! I became a potterhead when I was a kid and I read the books every night as bedtime stories XD
This is my second time, but soon to be third, fourth, and fifth! Books as well written as this never get old!
I've read the whole series probably 30 times. I am a real Harry Potter nut :) The books never get old!

This is my second time re-reading! I swear HP is the only series that is just as fun to read as the first time
Twice...I have already started reading the 1st book for the third time. Unfortunately I haven't found another book to excite me as much as the Harry Potter series... I always go back to it after a bad reading..
8 times i Think. my fav book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. i like sev snape very much and i suspected it was him :)
I started reading Harry Potter like 3 years ago at most, so I have only managed to read the series 8 times :)
I've just finished my second full re-reading of the whole series. I read it all when it first came out and since then I've re-read the individual books ad hoc, but I have only just re-read the whole series. I'm feeling a bit lost having just finished the Deathly Hallows...I've got a really long list of other books to read but I feel I could start to read the whole lot of HP again straight away!
I'm at the beginning of my third re-read. I read the series first when I was a kid/pre-teen, once in my mid-teens, and again now that I'm older. It's amazing how your perspective of certain things change over the years. For instance, when I was a kid, I loved how Dumbledore gave Gryffindor just enough points to overtake Slytherin at the end of book one; now, I think it was a pretty unkind thing to do. I've also grown weary of how black and white the Houses are portrayed, and would like to see Slytherin be a little more diversified. But even still, it's such a pleasure to read the series, and I'm glad I decided to pick up the books again.
I've read through the whole series four times in all. Whenever I encounter a reading slump, though, I'll pick up either the Order of the Phoenix or the Deathly Hallows to get out of it, so I've honestly lost count how many times I've read those two.
They were the only books I would read for year when I was younger. Must have read the full series at least 4 times in a row, but now Ill still pick one up at random when I start to miss them. Try to resist reading the full series again, or I will never read other books!
These are books that i have been reading from the age of 8 now 24 I still love to reread them. As to the amount of times i have read them i have lost count!
Like many others here I've lost count, but my guess would be around 6 or 7 maybe? A bit more for book 3, a bit less for Deathly Hallows because it came last and I'm pretty sure I re-read them before it came out. I once stayed up almost all night re-reading Goblet of Fire even though I knew it by heart! lol Does anyone else here find Chamber of Secrets really hard to re-read though? Out of all the books I've found myself unable to get through it a second time for some reason! I know I loved it when I first read it, but I just can't bring myself to finish a second full reading!
My Dad read each of them to me the first time. I have since read each of them an additional 3-4 times, including once in French for all seven of them.
Twice. First in Hungarian and second in English. I want to reread them again of course, especially in English.
I re-read the series recently and I've gotten back into my HP phase. I think I read the series altogether though only 3 times.
I stopped counting after 7. I re-read it every new year, some kind of superstition I guess.
I must've read and reread it several times.
But I remember re-reading PoA & HBP over and over again. I think those were the best-written in the series!
So glad to know I’m not the only weirdo who has read the book 9 times HAHA. I’ve read the whole series annually since I was 11, it’s become a tradition for me lol. People always thought I’m weird for doing so but I’m so happy there are other weirdos like me, totally obsessed with Harry Potter :))))
