Since we're about to start our first month of discussions, I thought it'd be good to have some guidelines about how these are going to go. If you have other suggestions or things I didn't think of, feel free to leave those comments as well:

- Each month, I'll create a discussion thread specific to that book under the "Book Discussion" folder. That's where you leave your thoughts and comments and discussion. It'll be open the entire month (possibly beyond - I haven't figured out how to close topics to comments yet) and you can come leave your thoughts at your leisure. There are no formal "meetings" as such, since we are spread out through time zones and countries. Treat it like a regular internet message board.

- Just as you are reading the book during the month, come here to share your thoughts and comments about the book. Maybe start a conversation about a question or topic you thought about while you were reading. Your comments can be as long or as short as you'd like them (keep in mind that Goodreads does have a character limit in their comment boxes, but it's something like 12,000 characters, which should be plenty).

- Spoilers for the book we are currently reading are okay to post. It'd be hard to have a good discussion if we were too worried about spoiling those who haven't read the book. I'm not going to make it a hard-and-fast rule that you MUST read the book before commenting, but it would be a good idea to finish the book before entering into the discussion.

- That being said, if you are going to include spoilers for a book that the group has NOT yet read, flagging your comment with a SPOILER WARNING would be appropriate. You can check the groups' Bookshelves for a list of books we have read. Right now (3/30/2014) there aren't any because we haven't started yet!

That's all I can think of as far as guidelines go. I will post the results of our poll later today and you all can start reading!
