What’s Moomin?

Moomin is a kid-friendly comic strip about a family of trolls, written by Finnish author Tove Jansson. Its been around since the 40's, and is *really* popular here in the Nordic countries. Kinda like Pogo, in that they are enjoyable for many ages.

They're cute, and a fun read (they've been translated to English, of course).

I think this thread could really benefit from the addition of some key Euro & Indie publishers.

If I provided forthcoming releases for Fantagraphics, Humanoids, Titan, First Second, Eurocomics, Magnetic / Lions Forge, Pantheon, et al. would you post them here?

I'm on all of these publishers' (+ many more) newsletters and could update regularly. I'd be happy to add Manga publishers like Viz, Kodansha, etc. as well, if we wanted to really make it a grab bag.

Thresk, I am interested in some of that content too. =) I wish there were more hardcovers from Titan as I've liked some of their paperback content but they likely don't have the sales.

I'd try Power Rangers out but I don't have any background in it. I didn't watch the show or anything as a kid though I know it was popular.

I think Europe already got a nice hardcover of Coda in French (IIRC). I was starting to wonder if they were going to ignore the American market altogether but it's great to see them giving us a chance to pick this up in hardcover too.
